Welcome, did you get a new one or used?

We really should have a section that tells newbie's some of the dumb things about the Forza that they need to know. Like that on empty you might have another 100 km in the tank or maybe none. The centre stand sucks if you have the bike leaning a little. Don't put anything in the middle of the underseat storage area. The helmets have to be only one way under the seat. Parts may be hard to get. Almost no one sells the factory oil. The bigger Citygrip fits the rear. Only Honda sells the stock tire. Some of the 2014's were put together wrong. There are recalls. The seat will not stay up. Tires wear out at 10,000 km on the back. The spark plugs are expensive. The body panels can be fragile. The Red ones are faster.

Some of the things I say are wrong, you decide. 65,000 km and counting.

I bought my forza used with only 250 miles, thanks for the info. Your right parts are hard to find, factory oil that I can’t find and my seat don’t stay up, other than that I like it lol

The red ones are definitely faster; that's documented.

In the US, red ones are definitely the fastest. It's the only color we can get.

There is a fix for your seat. Go down a bit in http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f ... =+warranty and look for the hi-vis dog. Part number for the newer damper that actually works.

Another fix: http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f ... rt&start=0
Roll down to the post by MBMeyer. A clean and pretty inexpensive solution.

Or get a stick.

Use your trip meter to decide when to fill up with gas - the gauge is pretty much just decorative.
On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Please paste this address into a new tab and add yourself to the map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1NlP7xk7KMdJReQnm-iDhldFBdpQ&ll=4.995760578398276%2C0&z=2
but please, don't delete anybody, no matter how badly they deserve deleting :)

The Forza engine is pretty forgiving. It will run on almost any oil or any grade of gas. Super Premium gas does nothing for this low revving engine.

I have to order parts and tires well in advance. Thailand, Great Britain and Montreal are far from me.

Exhaust systems are expensive and do almost nothing for the Forza 300. It is not a race engine.

Not everybody shares your enthusiasms:

Open exhausts are just noisy crap, an an insult to civilized ears. Moreover, their real power gain
is near zilch.

As to the slider thing, see how quickly they wear down ( mine's rollers are still fine @23.5K). Or:
Honda engineers know a thing or two about variator design, after all.

Ah come one, every one needs a nice fantasy.

If you want to go fast, buy a fast bike, a scooter is not a fast bike.

If you want loud, buy a Harley with straight pipes.

If you want death defying you should have ridden with me in the Fraser Canyon today. The train engine is still on its side in the mud, the mountains are still falling down and it is still raining.

The definition of insanity is going to Boston Bar in the rain for a $1.25 ice cream bar!
