Bikerzbits

Post by Rmengel »

I ordered some lowering blocks on 8-11-17 and I have heard that that they got my money but nothing about the parts. Is this about right for parts coming from over seas ? It said 3-day from DHL but I just wondered what others have found with them ? Thanks Rick

Patience my boy, patience. You are talking about overseas time. They move at a different pace than we do. I have gotten things in two weeks, and I have gotten things in two months. Once it goes into their mail system it is out of the seller's hands until it reaches our shores.
Currently own:

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights

Yup, when I order from Thailand, I just forget about the purchase. I know it's coming in sometime in the next couple months

Two months is ridiculous if the shop shipped it on time. Just ask for the tracking number, theyll be forced to ship it ASAP. A month should be max. DHL from US takes only 2 weeks.

Are extra duty taxes and customs agents involved when ordering from outside the U.S.? I have no experience with this. Does the price on the website at checkout reflect all of the costs involved to get the item to my door? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Glenn. I just wanted to make sure I was comparing apples to apples when looking at prices. (No hidden surprises)
