A very Merry Christmas to all the riders on this forum!

I have to read all the posts from all over with an envious eye; it is cold here, and the path leading to my bike is covered with ice.
Regardless, this year is the best year of all, because everyone I love is warm and safe. It doesn't get any better than that.

Skid safely??? I think I would rather stay down south, where it is cold and wet right now, but no snow. Just lots and lots and lots of rain....enough to have flood warnings out. Ahhh to be down south, where it hardly ever snows but rains so much that flood insurance is a good idea for everyone. :-/

Mel we had three tornados come through our parish. One in our town about 1 mile away from our house. First in over ten years.

Mel, I just a short ride from ya. House on hill side inside a small valley. Have had 3 tornadoes in 50 years go right over my house, destroying houses on both sides. The hills act like deflectors and I'm about 50' above the flood plan.
I do get trapped on occasion, but I still love the South and Sweet Home Alabama. I ride to Ga sometimes, my son lives about 20 min south of Hotlanta.
