Your question is basically stupid, sorry. There are so many variables. You have not even told us which country you live in.

The cost of insurance depends on the amount of coverage you want. It also depends on who and what you are.

In British Columbia, Canada we are required to buy a minimum liability insurance from the government. My cost was $372 Canadian for a male, 58 years old with no accidents driving for 42 years. $372 gets me no coverage for theft or damage to my machine. I have one speeding ticket in 42 years on one of the smallest motorcycles (Forza 300) I have ever owned.

what is it you dont understand about" Forza Insurance in UK"?...or do you not know what UK stands for?..United Kingdom.,....And my membership details show I am located in Central Scotland which is in the UK.
My "stupid" query is reviving an old thread because its the same subject but an up to date request for anyone having knowledgable input...and "stupidly" I would not expect anyone from outside the UK to have any input/advice/knowledge into Insurance costs in the UK.

Sorry the "stupid question" comment was directed at the original creator of the thread back in 2013.

As a side note, Wikipedia does not agree where exactly mid Scotland or Central Scotland is exactly. We have the same silly thing in Canada, Northern Ontario begins actually south of most of Canada. The American Midwest starts east of most of the USA.

Another silly side note, my great, great grandfather used to sell insurance in Cumberland I was told. I researched it a bit and found out it was a type of burial insurance so that the minister would give you a decent service. BUT my great, great grandfather was also the minister. Sounds like a great con artist to me.

Not a problem..its just one of the issues which can arise from written communications being misunderstood...Cumbernauld is about 6miles down the road from me...I am in Stirling which along with Cumbernauld is within what is locally known as the "Central Belt" ..
.... When I worked in Glasgow some Glaswegians thought Loch Lomond was in the North of Scotland ( 15 miles away!)...and Perth where I originally come from was way up North...60mls away...
Your great great Grandfather sounds like he was a bit of an entrepreneur..

I have my renewal notice in front of me. $218/yr for full coverage on my Harley Sportster & $35/yr for just the liability part on my Yamaha Majesty. That's in the Demokratik Peoples Republik of Kalifornia with no claims against me in 63 years of riding.
