Forza has arrived.

Post by scisor34 »

The 2014 Forza arrived today at the dealership I work for. Looks like a nice bike. It's a brighter red than the PCX. I'll post more once it's out of the crate.

I am going to my dealer tomorrow to pick up my lawn mower, I will check but I would rather doubt that they will even get one in this year any more. They really try to lower scooter inventory durring the winter months. I bought the last PCX July 3rd and they still havent replaced it with a new one.

I just checked with my dealer and he hasn't seen any yet. Of course, his scooter inventory is slim, while his expensive machine inventory has increased. Hmmmm....can we say high profit only?! There are multiple dealers here so I will check with them later on this week.

Well 2 new Forza's hit the showroom floor today, I should have pics of it next to a PCX later tonight. Granted it hasn't been prepped yet so I haven't riden it, but I'll share my initial thoughts. Left side glove compartment is HUGE compared to the PCX, bigger opening and very deep, right side is a little bigger than the PCX. Left glove compartment is only accessable via a switch much like the fuel/ seat latch on the PCX for security. Dash looks great. Color is much brighter red than the PCX. The seat is wider and more comfortable, but I'm 5'10" and would prefer to be seated back about 2" as to stretch my legs. I wasn't able to fully extend my legs into a comfortable position on the floorboards where they angle up. Larger riders than myself will definitely feel cramped. One other thing I didn't particulary care for was the clear windshield frosted look from its base half way up, it makes it look like there's packing material or something behind it that someone forgot to remove, it just doesn't have a clean look. These are just my initial thoughts after sitting on it, I'm excited to actually ride it. Ergonomics wise, I prefer the feel of the Majesty because of how close the seating position is. Hopefull have pics up soon.

Great info scisor34!
Sorry to hear that there is not much leg room even for a 5'10" but I have to wonder about the seat itself.

It appears that its segmented into 3 pieces.
Is it all attached together?
Do you think it could be modified to remove/modify the middle section to let the average person move back?

Anyway,
Love the color!
Love the integrated signals front and back!
Love the power and speed that the 300 is sure to put out!

Great job Honda.
..now if I can only wait to find a wrecked one... :ugeek:
Too many scoots..... 12 or so I think .

I wonder if its the same seat as the old forza 250? Be nice to know if the backrest can be removed. Otherwise is a showstopper for not so little me.

You need to sit on one first.
The seat will be modifiable.
So long as you don't want to ride the wrong way (feet forward) it'll probably be fine.

Tyre sizes

Rear 140/70-13
Front 120/70-14

Dunlop Scootsmart are fitted and there's a Michelin available.

Forza has arrived.

Post by dustin91 »

Looks gorgeous! But I couldn't wait on one before I got my 150, and also thought the Forza might be too long and too heavy for me to K-turn in my garage after every ride. However, when I'm ready for an upgrade in a few years, it's nice to know I don't have to jump up to a SilverWing.

Also, there's a guy in Thailand who's had a white one for a while now, who did two good reviews of it on YouTube. He said he could fit his whole forearm in the left box!

The pics are great, thanks for posting! If you head back to the dealer, can you take a close up of the dash?
