Handlebars and Levers swap

Post by 212 »

As part of tidy the PCX up I’ve fitted new handlebars and levers.
The handlebars are Renthal superbike high that I trimmed down each side by 15mm, got some rubber pipe that fitted inside then stuck a flange m6 nut on the far end pushed the pipe’s inside each end of the bars as this enabled to fit the original bar weights.
The handlebar brace is a cheap ping pong eBay one.
And the adjustable levers are from eBay too.

I’ve not noticed if the bars are more comfortable or not but the levers are great with the span adjuster.
When I’ve got my super thick winter gloves on I can adjust them in seconds to be able to cover the rear brake comfortably and not have the brake light on.
They are my favourite modification at the moment :)

I put adjustable brake levers on both of our bikes shortly after purchasing the bikes, and they have been great. I can ride my wife's PCX or she can ride mine, both with very little modification...just the lever positions.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

thats a good point, my wife occasionally borrows my scoot in summer and her hands are much smaller than mine. I know as I borrow her bike gloves when mine are wet :)

It’s the first time I’ve had adjustable levers and now I tried them will keep them

Those parts look great on your scoot, especially against the white bodywork. Sweet upgrade !
