Service in Thailand - 8000 km and 2 year service

Post by BobS »

Just had the 8000 km service, as well as the extra items that get done every two years.

New spark plug
New fluids - engine oil, rear drive oil, radiator, brake fluid

Total cost at the Honda dealer - 853.91 baht - about $27 USD

Probably what a US dealer would charge you just to wheel the bike into the service bay ;)

Looks like this is a Thailand change oil price thread. Did my 18,000 kms last week at Honda dealer, 135 baht Honda engine oil and 65 baht Honda gear oil. total 200 baht ($6.37 based on TAIFU's rate)

I might be needing to change my tires soon at 18,000 kms(IRC Stock). A citygrip might be easy to find on honda dealers since the 2018 pcx is fitted with it.
Everything looks better from the inside of a motorcycle helmet...

Aye, but they have to work hard to wheel the bikes around, like everything in the USofA they're fecking huge and take some amount of pushing.

For 27$? No way. They wouldn't spit at you for 27$. If you were to do the wheeling in yourself, however, they might let you rent, for that amount, a little space in the corner of the shop where you could park the bike until the actual work is done on it.
