Winter Project

Post by you you »

Anybody got any projects lined up?

I usually like a good tidy up, spray exhaust etc, and maybe fit something un-necessary but I'm a bit short of ideas.

Perhaps you are doing something a bit more adventurous?

You mean something like this?

Now that the leaves are off the trees I've got some tall limbs to trim over the winter. No money for tree experts. I'm in good standing with God (I think). And since it's like doing rounds of boxing I consider it a physical fitness program. Every cloud has it's silver lining.

The bikes are resting in the basement right now. If the weather improves they will come out for some fun. Otherwise they will stay in the basement and I will work on them, and maybe even clean them up. I have already changed the oil, so there isn't a lot to do in that respect.

Are you going to Drain the old and add Fresh petrol Mel? If so, add an ounce (per gallon) of Sea Foam to the fresh and "Stir it Up" :D

I ride my PCX almost everyday...luckily we have not had any snow yet this winter.

I typically only drive my Honda Accord on the nasty rain/snow days or heavy winds

Using the PCX to get to work every day through winter, so I wait until March when the salts gone and I will strip it down, acf50 it, and generally go over anything that needs doing.

Got the vstrom stripped at the moment and will change brake fluid, coolant, fork oil, engine oil, seals, bearings, chain & sprockets etc. and acf50 it. Will hopefully be reliable then through the summer.
