Welcome to the forum! There isn't any difference between those years. All will have benefiting from the last major makeover from Honda in 2015. Depending on where you live in the world there will be 125's or 150's because of minimum cubic centimeter thresholds imposed buy your local providence or government registration restrictions on licensing classification. There also might be variable ignition systems keyless or keyed with the additional Idle Stop feature (Europe only)

I see you are in Jersey so you will find std key ignition, non idle stop, PCX150's sold in the USA. I suggest you check craigslist rather than dealer as warranties are short and largely unnecessary. A gently used 2015 or later can be had for a song.

Thanks I'm probably going to get one for $2,500 2017 model. Is that a good price or should I get one off Craigslist

$2500 is a very good price for a 2017. As with any vehicle purchase how it was cared for, ridden, and maintained is key to it's longevity.

Homie has provided some great maintenance videos that you can refer to when doing your own. The newer LED PCX models have some subtle differences (including the types of fasteners used to secure the body panels) but overall they are quite similar. I highly recommend you get the Service Manual.

A few months ago I bought a new "leftover" 2017 and although I did get a discount I ended up paying about $4000 OTD after taxes, reg., and fees. It was pulled out of a crate and prepped for me. . .hadn't been on the showroom floor nor test ridden by tire kickers yet.

I'm pleased with the LED headlight and turn signals brightness. It's much brighter than my 49cc scooter with the regular 35W bulb.

I put a battery powered LED light in the under seat stowage area and it does come in handy when I run light grocery errands at night. Used Velcro to fasten it. Here's a pic.

I bought a used 2015 model with 1050 miles for $2200. The previous owner dropped it on the right side, which the dealership disclosed. Just some scuffs, nothing wrong with the drivetrain (knock on wood). I personally hate the way the PCX looks (too futuristic, too bug-like), BUT I didn't buy it for its looks. I spent forever researching the Yamaha SMAX, Piaggio Beverly, Suzuki Bergman, Kymco Like, Vespa Primavera and test rode all of them. To me, the PCX was the best, the most refined. Also, I'm short and the Honda fit the best.

What did you have against the SMAX? I just saw a video with a guy that had one... somewhere else said it had a 77mph top speed, which I could use. The stock windscreen probly helps with that (besides not being rev limited).

The only thing I don't like about it is 13" tires compared to the pcx's 14" tires. I'd imagine that any 150-160cc fuel injected scooter with 16" or greater wheels would blow all the competition away.

Congrats, that's a good deal on a 2015 LED model. Look up the price on the damaged panels, you will be surprised by how cheap they are.

The SMAX’s seat height was way too high for me. Plus it felt wider than the PCX, which made tippy toeing almost impossible. I had to stand up at every stop to stabilize the scooter. But the rest of the scooter was nice. The drivetrain was incredibly smooth.

I actually loved the Piaggio Beverly. But I had to completely lock out my elbows and sit at the edge of the seat just to reach the handlebars. I’m only 5’6”.

I loved the look of the Vespa - that’s IMHO what a scooter should look like. Rolling works of art. But is it over-priced? Ideally, I’d love to have the look of a Vespa with a Honda engine in it.

Yeah, I’ve been checking out the price of panels from those Thai dealers. Not only do I not like the insect-look of the PCX, I hate the black color. I’m considering replacing the panels with white ones. I think the entire kit is around $350. I hear replacing the front panels is a major headache.
