Well, in Southern Ontario, anyway. Tomorrow and Wednesday will be 11C(51F). Time to ride!
Hope you are all able to ride soon as well.

It has been in the 70s here. Even when it is raining out it is between 65 and 70°F.
Our problem is that it rains a lot during the winter here.
Meanwhile, I am still working on my bike, so it will stay in the basement for a little longer.

Hey Mel, great to hear from you! I've been MIA on the forums...so what are you doing to your PCX? And yes, down South you sure are milder. Been a long weird winter here. Last winter I rode into December and started again in February. Cheers!

I have taken my bike completely apart and have upgraded the headlight by changing the bulbs to HS5, and I am adding 4 additional LED lights into the headlight assembly.
Also, while the bike is apart I am cleaning up some of my previous wiring.

Here is what the light assembly looked like recently. I had some of the wires and connectors attached temporarily in order to test the unit before cleaning it up for installation. I am waiting for some special connectors that I ordered before wrapping the wiring and reinstalling the assembly.

Wow! That's quite a project! So HS5 LED? Love mine but my supplier on Ebay disappeared. Where'd you find yours?

Dustin91 sent them to me. They put out a nice beam, much stronger than the original bulbs. Adding the other 4 led lights really lights up the front of the bike too!

I'm planning on adding switchback white/amber to the "rest of the world" turn signal lenses.

I have looked at switchback bulbs but at $22 per bulb they are too expensive for my tastes. (I have seen some for $12 each but that is still expensive for 2.) I have also wondered about hooking them up. Standard turn signal bulbs wait for current from the turn signal relay. To run current to the socket continually and still allow the turn signal current to activate the yellow you will either need a diode externally or internally so the current won't backflow to the relay and burn it out.

It is nice around here too...60's from the feel of it. I, of course, took out the PCX this morning. but then, if it had been 15 and the roads were clear I would have taken it out. I have been riding this winter every day when there wasn't flying snow or snow lying on the streets. Zero, and even below. Either I ride every day or the men in white come and cart me away. Since I have been using heated gloves I have absolutely no problem no matter what the temperature. I watch the pavement like a hawk for black ice (not much in evidence around here) and never look back. I don't need to ride for hours...10, 15 mins is good. A half hour is average. I suppose if I had to do a really long ride in zero weather, I might take a moment to ponder the wisdom of two wheels....

I admire your courage. I might like to have leds but somehow my desire is not as strong as my distaste for pulling apart the bike. I have already done it several times and it has gotten to the point that if I do it again I will have to buy new plastic to put it back together again. Half the tabs and hooks on my farings are broken, missing , or deformed. Truth to tell, this bike is not a DIYer's chosen province. It is nightmarish to work on, especially in the cold. I don't know how you ever got one into a basement...unless you have elevator access or a ramp.

Spring isn’t in the UK yet It was snowing hard this morning so I took the van to work, took me nearly 50mins longer than it does by PCX :(
Although on the way home I did have the fun of recreating the Millennium Falcons jump to light speed by putting high beam on and driving fast into the snow blizzard.

Your headlight wiring job looks very tidy, we love to see a photo of it lit up

It doesn't feel like spring with the snow. 170 miles to work and back in a car that couldn't be less suitable. I like the millennium falcon analogy
