So I took the long way to work ...
... which in my case turns a 15km ride into a 300km one. I'll call it a "mental health day".
GPS tracking put the distance covered at 299.8 km - max speed 98.6km/h (it used to hit the rev limiter at 112 km/hr indicated, but now it's hitting it at 106 km/hr indicated - so I'm putting that down to transmission wear at the moment).
Fuel economy has been interesting; first leg was 95% wide-open-throttle - punching into a mild headwind - and averaging a steady climb over 60km. Economy for this leg was 26.09 km/l. 2nd leg was a mixture of WOT and limited to 80 km/hr - neutral wind - slight downhill - economy averaged 32.7km/l. Haven't got the final leg economy yet, but it'll be much the same as the first - mostly neutral wind - elevation change averaged out - and mostly WOT. Popped a spare 5l of fuel under the seat in an approved container, but didn't need it. Normal "city" economy hovers around 43 -> 45 km/l.
Note: Average is low because GPS was running even when bike wasn't - did a bit of visiting during the day.
Nice day for a ride - so I took the long way to work

Powerful, but not the friendliest interface I've come across.
