Buying a syringe to add a few extra ounces of oil is a bit too anal for my tastes, no pun intended.

You won't think it anal when you try and use something else for the rear drive oil.......see the diy here by the owner of this site....

Oh yeah when it comes to the rear, I would want to use a syringe. It will never come to the rear. My patience with diy maintenance is very low. I was throwing curse words and wrenches just doing my first oil change a couple days ago. Mainly because of the oil sump bolt. So no anal syringes for me.
