At present, police not being able to give chase (even a video showing the scum-bags hitting a police motorcyclist on the back of the helmet when he is riding in traffic!) due to the scum-bags hurting themselves or dying whilst police give chase. So what, to **** with them. Actually, police can give chase, but if they remove their helmets the police cannot do that or have to stop, so they don't bother. The law in this country has gone mad.

I've changed jobs and now work in central London. I could park in various motorcycle bays and pay £1/day, but hardly any of them have any means to chain the bike to anything, so I won't do that. Instead, I now park underground in a Q-Park (free for motorcyclists!), it's protected from the elements and there are lots of railings to chain the bike to - that said, it's a ticketed pay sysyem with a protected door for human re-entry with some camera's and 24hr guard, so quite secure. Result! - and only 2 mins walk to work!

It's a sad world we live in that people have to mistreat each other like that. How many centuries will it take for mankind to progress and evolve into a non-criminal, non-violent, non-prejudice being?

IT'S MEL ! he's getting everyone fired up with theft links again. When the drunk indians used to piss on the corner of the carport in the ally after the bars closed my step dad gave them a 110v hot plate to piss on o_O The war-hoop at 2am in the morning meant the lesson was learned. Why can't we get similar security on our bikes.

Actions having consequences. I love it! (it's a rare thing in this "modern" world).

One of the funnier videos on YouTube is this dude who wired a tazer to his bicycle's handlebars - complete with a wireless remote - and waited for someone to steal his bike (several did).

I've got an old iPhone 4 I don't use - I'm tempted to hide it behind a panel somewhere on my PCX - with a permanent connection to the battery - so I could track it in the event of it being stolen.

I like that Skunk lock! I hope they bottled real skunk stink. The thief would have to burn his clothes! I know. I was unfortunate enough to run into one of those stinky beasts at night when I was younger. I had to burn my clothes, even my boots.

I do believe mankind has been rebooted more than once, and they still insist on violence.
How many wars does mankind need to be involved in before they realize that there has to be a better way to deal with those who love violence just for the thrill of it? If there is a person who is a serial killer, then maybe that individual should be put somewhere where he or she can not hurt the innocent, but perhaps will feel at home with his own kind...say, in a den of lions, Or killer baboons? Hmmm...anyone know where there is a Jurassic Island? That should do the trick.

Beware of reading the Daily Mail which is racist, elitist and full of lies.

The more legitimate press report the same story in a more balanced way. Not sure what's happened in London over the last couple of months, but the stats don't support the headline if you look into it further. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/c ... 86866.html

Still, one death is too many.

The story originally ran in the Times, also an elitist right wing lie machine.
