Honda PCX150 in HRC Trico

The post June '17 PCX150 sold in Malaysia in 'Pearl Metalloid White' has red side panels, seat and gold wheels. It's just begging for an HRC tri-colour scheme. Here's something simple although the wing logo needs to be changed to a roundel (as per RC213V-S) and moved up to where the red is. The red and blue bands need to be modified as well (this is way too crude!). Mid-80s HRC colour codes are R134 Fighting Red, PB127 Candy Aleutian Blue, NH138 Shasta White. I never realised that the blue was a candy colour. Very 'custom' and a little more challenging to paint as it's a 2-stage (silvery undercoat, candy blue basecoat and gloss lacquer top is mandatory). Add on Ohlins rear suspension (P/N HO427 @ RM2472), Akrapovic exhaust system (P/N S-H125R4-HRSS @ RM2369 and P/N P-KAT-040 for the cat @ RM464), some Pirelli Diablo Scooter or Michelin City Grip and you’re done. To go all out maybe a hollow Kitaco front axle, Takegawa polished alloy radiator guard, high speed pulley kit and clutch centre spring, YSS front suspension adjusters. That’s about it really. Hope you guys like my plan. Any comments or criticism much appreciated.

That color scheme on that PCX looks great. Reminds me of a CBR500R. 8)

Would be interesting to see it in the Repsol colour scheme :)

The post June '17 PCX150 in white produced here in Malaysia looks like this. Red seats, side panels and gold wheels. Not too sure if the white is good for an HRC scheme. Repsol is nice but it a bit too much for me.

Looks good doesn't it. If Honda ever turned one out I'd have to have one.

Yes you did a fine job on the Repsol PCX. Send that on over to Honda paint schemes department. Maybe hit it with just a little of the Bengal Tiger stripe. You have a good eye for this.

Hey the Repsol scheme looks awesome. A friend of mine completed the HRC look. Tell me if you like it.

Looks great. Only thing I'm not convinced about is the colour of the wheels = I know it's stock, but it just looks "meh" to me.

Tweaked to change rim colour - what do we think? Better? Worse?

Thanks for the comments. About those wheels - do you think plain black would be good? The Eckert-HRC RS750S had black wheels I think.

BeeU T! 8) Can I Be next in line for the taking?
Opinions still coming in?
Ok, Mine:
Go smaller (text) on the Honda decal, change color to black or blue
Take the rear red and front amber reflector's off.
Let's see what White Wheels look like. No black. No Silver. Red or Blue perhaps?
Cut down the Too Big tupperware piece that holds the plate/tag.
Change out the mirrors - White with black trimming.
The seat can be figured out later. "Finishing Touches" ;)
