Re: Kennesaw, Georgia FYI
I'm just not convinced that those things are as easy to ride as they are made out to be. Look how far out the handlebars Are! No, I'll stick with my PCX. It is nimble and can take the corners quite well. My wife likes to look at the Can-American but I don't think her hands could reach the handlebars. Still, I will point out this add to her and let her decide.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Is she riding the PCX yet?

Re: Kennesaw, Georgia FYI
The three wheel version with the single wheel in the front is significantly harder to ride and steering is that much more difficult. The ones with the two wheels up front are much much better.

Re: Kennesaw, Georgia FYI
My wife has then her bike out one time and that is the extent of her riding. I have been the one exercising the bikes. Three excuses keep her from riding.
1. It is too hot to wear the jacket. I will ride if I don't have to wear the jacket. (She gets upset when I remind her that it cost us $75,000 we don't have when she had that last accident and was not wearing her jacket. I had mine on and my cost was an emergency room checkup. Big difference.)
2. It rains unexpectedly almost every day. (True, but I hope it has started to improve more now that August has arrived.)
3. Too much traffic. (I agree, but we have to ride in order to get out of the congested areas. I don't have a way of towing a trailer.)
So, I have to wonder if she would ride if I spent the money on one of those trikes.

Difficult for you Mel, and in some ways I'm so sorry for asking. But I'd really like you to be riding with your wife again.
Here's hoping?

Re: Kennesaw, Georgia FYI
I guess that's what you southerners do, since you don't have snowmobiles?
Just teasing. I'm starting to see them up here.
I can't really see the point in them. They're wide enough that one might as well just have a car. Can't avoid anything that shows up suddenly in your lane: on one hand, you can't straddle debris, and on the other, you're not narrow enough to swerve around it without leaving your lane.
