Only for North America. The rest of the world never had external indicators ever.

I would like to know what made the updated version able to remove the front turn signal stumps? Was the front of the bike widened? When I bought my 2013 model the first thing that I noticed was that the upper light assembly was empty and the turn signals had been moved to tree stumps sticking out of the side of the bike. So I guessed that everywhere else in this world had the front turn signals inside the light assembly. That is where I would prefer that they be. If I put them in the light assembly I am guessing that it wouldn't satisfy our government regulations. :-(
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Interesting concept. I still use my hand-signals along with my turn indicators and always check my rear view mirrors to see if traffic behind me was paying attention and is slowing down.

IMHO the LED lights are brighter but don't know if that was a determining factor in eliminating the stumps. :geek:

Added your gauge representation suggestion thanks. Also an explanation for eSP but could not find out what year eSP was introduced. Gave a vague description of the 2014 oddity. Tagged it searchable for Google, resized it. What are we forgetting?

youyou was there a 2010 model and are there 125cc eSP versions?

I don't know of a 2010. There were 125s in all models.

Still missing a 2014. Should it be "2011 to 2014"?

Thanks IDK of a 2010 either... There are people in this forum now who have the 2014 PCX and it's every bit the 15. But I've also seen 2014's that have humped seats. It's a wild card PCX 8)

Sounds like the 2014 may have been a bit of a "parts bin" machine. . .. ;)

The gauge pics look great . . . !

Memory Test time. Not a total Recall. I'm going to take a stab at this (why, I don't know as it gets crazy)!

2yous, let's think back to 2010 when We were on the ahem, "other forum." It was confusing then. Now years later, tis more confusing.

In the USA, the 2011 PCX was on Honda's showroom floor late 2010. It was available elsewhere in the world Earlier than that. Several Members outside the USA came on "that forum" saying they purchased a "2010" PCX. (Both our PCX's were 125cc with humped seats, non-led, no eSP).

I was confused, "that" forum was confused. Was it a 2010 or 2011? I bought mine late 2010 and Honda advertised it as 2011 PCX 125 intro model. I finally, we finally, accepted both years as one model year - the same 125cc bike.

AFA the eSP edition: I believe it was the 2013 PCX 125cc eSP (not available in the USA on our 150cc)
Maybe Mel can confirm this?

Bike years:
2010/2011 All 125cc (model year depending on your worldly location)

No 2012

2013 and 2013eSP 125 and 150cc (depending on your worldly location)

2014/2015eSP 125 and 150cc (model year and motor depending on your worldly location)

2016eSP 125 and 150cc (motor depending on your worldly location)

2017 ditto ^

2018 ditto ^

How's that 2yous, is my memory serving me correctly? Tis hard recalling all sides of Honda's PCX creations.

Thanks whitenoise, AFA does not refer to the engine prior to eSP rather you are teaching me the acronym for (another fricken acronym) you are too funny  I had to look that up.

Now on with what was gleaned from your recollection;
I think we will not lend any further thought to a 2010 PCX as it would have been short lived and most likely just like a 2011 anyway.

Is it correct to say that Honda had some sort of Gy6 engine (non-eSP) on the PCX from inception to the first 2013 model? If so what was that engine called?

Then in 2013 the engine was re-designed by a renown Honda engineer who they use from department to department on various bikes to improve product efficiency. This engineer, who I don't remember his name increased the angle of the cylinder and created this (laid down) version we see today. This modification had performance and fuel efficiency benefits by reducing friction in the engine and was called eSP (enhanced smart power) <---- yes, no, maybe?
