Do you mean the "mute" commercial? I mute that annoying bastard every time it comes on. I thought about flex seal, too. I knew that would be the ultimate answer.

Put a bottle of drinking water and paper towel under the seat. Also two gallon Ziplock (or any thick plastic) bags and riding boots. After work put the work boots in the bags, wear the riding boots. Wipe off any dust on your shoes with damp paper towel so it doesn't get on the floor boards, if it does wipe them off.

Always use a proper cleaner and soft cloth on the plastic body panels though so they don't scratch.

No I could give a damn about like new condition or bling.....I just don’t like rubber down there because I think it looks cheap and I’ve used carbon fiber for years on stuff and it works great. If you keep your feet on the grids, which is why I was attracted to the metal ones in the first place, the fiber stays clean. Here They are, about two years later And because everybody here seems to be a wise ass , that spot behind the foot grid is dirt , not abrasion. They still look perfect. The whole bike gets a 15 min wipe down with polymer every 60 days, that helps too.
