Now I learn something new everyday in these forums! Did you guys think to use a leaf blower to mop up moister lingering in your fasteners and crevasses? OMG those Harley boys don't mess around with oxidizing bolts and rusty metal surfaces. You can even buy a dedicated heat blower device specifically designed for the final once over. I just washed the scoot with a hose pretty much for the first time since purchase and sure enough the darn leaf blower hanging right beside my bikes in the garage was the ticket to new found monk depths never known to homie.

My wife is a dog groomer...and has a blaster dryer...fantastic for blowing water away and drying things, better than a leaf blower as it blows hot.

The blower made for this on the auto detailing sites is called a MASTER BLASTER......I use the leaf blower on my wheels , the rest of it I just wipe down

I wash mine and then get on it and ride. All of the water comes off after a turn around the block a few times.

I'm with Mel on his one lol. I use a Chamois then a blast around the block or two

Yup, use a dedicated one for all my vehicles thanks to the Junkman2000 from YouTube. Great for getting water out of mirrors, and everywhere else. Look for his two-bucket wash videos, great stuff!

Junkman's 2-Bucket Wash Technique

When I take my bike into my dealer they wash it after servicing it. Then they use their air hose to blow it dry. Try to get that kind of service from a car dealer.

Our local Honda car dealer always washes and vacuums our Jazz after servicing it. No extra charge. Also run a free shuttle bus to and from our local mall.

My former VW dealer never cleaned our Golf, but their service charges were more than double the Honda.

I wonder why Honda named it the Jazz in Asia but the Fit in the United States.

There are actually consultants that test names against focus groups for corporations, and see which ones play the best in the country that they’re in. It’s the way that they came up with the “Acura” and “Integra” names , both not even being a true word!… They are called “futurist brand” consultants… everybody I know in the vehicle industry uses them…

I use leaf blower on everything.. Cars , boats, lawn tractor and inside and outside. Amazing how fast and no water spots.

You are slipping Homie...I thought you would have known about this...

Don't use your usual blower if you've ever used it for sucking leaves

Buy a cheap one, throw away the attachments and use that.

In the UK Homebase are selling an excellent version for £22.

In the market for a Lightweight Cordless leaf blower with Good+ ratings and not too costly. Will use it to blow "fluff" snow off my truck and front porch, for leaves, gutters etc, and as a dryer. Who knew it was so versatile, it's justa leaf blower,...remember?

Poor Homie . Can you dig out "Always the last to know" by Del Amitri for him?

I have no need of a blow dry facility because I use a waterless wash and wax cleaner.
Much easier and faster.

What about washing off salt?

Won't be riding it after the roads get salted, but the waterless would remove it just fine anyway.
Washing off just dilutes the salt and drives it into nooks and crannies everywhere.
ACF-50 properly applied is the right way to combat salt.

What about washing off salt?

Precisely why I never sold my 49cc Genuine Roughhouse 50. I wash it and take good care of it but there is just so much plastic on it that it makes a great bad weather/winter scoot. If it gets some rust on the kickstand spring I'm not worried about it. I like to keep my PCX looking new.

Temps are starting to drop now as the year is beginning to draw to a close but I keep on riding and keep on adding layers.
