❶ locate the position of the bike with lights and sound signals. To facilitate the search for bike
❷ signal stealing theft protection. The system will send an alarm immediately. When the vehicle is in motion or vibration
❸ - off. Remote command to open or lock a remote connection to a smart controller. Lock layer to ensure maximum security.

First post.

Got mine just last week.

Trying to cope with the smartkey as I'm so used with traditional keys.

Bike warns you (two beeps and hazard lights blinking) once you forgot to lock and walk away (6 ft) from the bike. Great.

Smartkey uses the CR2302 battery, be sure to have some spare in your u-box just in case.

I have an older PCX - and I know my alarm is pretty useless (put the key in and turn it to cancel!!! No immobiliser... and organised thieves punch into that ignition and twist it in a second... so the alarm doesn't stop theft much.

THis new switch looks trickier... and surely beats trying to stick a key into a hole, especially if you're parked in a very hot outdoor spot - just press, twist n go!!! Faster is also safer (if someone comes to rob you, can you cooly insert your key?).

Can you retrofit this system to a 2017 model? Mine has the "normal" key
