My dealer hadn't heard anything about it at all. I don't think it will be too long before it comes out though.

I remember reading a while back that its about half a BHP increase. With a similar increase to torque.
It also uses a more efficient radiator and because of that it can use a smaller fan. wasting less of the engines power driving it.

Overall its like someone at Honda decided to go over every component and just make it that little bit more efficient.

It's not about giving more power it's about increasing combustion efficiency and fuel economy.

They should just have done the modifications and kept quiet about it.

you know, the one thing they could have done to make the PCX objectively better was to make the tank bigger

but hey, we claim it's more economical so it won't really bother you if we just make it a tiny bit smaller, right?

Yep, the one modification I would pay money for right now is a bigger tank.

So there is an increase in power, despite having 'power' in the name and there being an actual increase in power, the boffins at Honda were only interested in "increasing combustion efficiency and fuel economy" so says gn2.

Well by increasing combustion efficiency you are getting the energy out of the fuel more efficiently. Which will give more power and fuel economy.

They could have increased the power by 3.7 hp to the 15 hp limit for a learner 125 yet they chose to increase it by just 0.4 instead.
So like I said, it's about increasing efficiency.
