I really need to put that new tire on, I had a bit of a scare when a SUV decided they wanted my lane. I lost traction for a bit when I had to brake hard. I would have likely wrecked if I hadn't had experience with the rear going out from dirt biking -- I highly recommend any of you people out there who haven't ridden a dirt bike in the mud to at least go rent one to experience what riding with little traction is really like. Having that experience has saved me on multiple occasions.
whoa..that was tricky! I never rode a dirt bike and now that I want to, I can't. All that bouncing round would whack my back out (I take chances now as it is). Ah well, it tis what it tis.
Glad you had the experience to keep her upright. Hey the weather is getting better for you Southern folk. Warming up, suns out, wheels turning. Nice.
We folk up North are just lovin' our snowmen snowlady snowkids snowanimals snowcars snowhomes snowtrees S N O W Everything!!!! (Where's a Bitchin' emoticon when you need one? Ok, this will work with a little of this thrown in). Really, Really over "It!"
TAKE THIS! YOU FROZEN CONGLOMERATION OF WATER DIRT AND GOD KNOWS WHAT! RIP

I completely agree. We had such nice weather, and now we have a freeze warning. At least we don't have the snow you have! I saw this the other day, you might appreciate it, WN:

Brilliant weather this week in the North of England. had a great 120 mile run out to Scarborough and back. Parked up with the big boys on the seafront! Bag of chips, stick of rock, and a dose of sunshine. What more do you want!

Yesterday I put a few more miles on the PCX. I LOVE this little scooter - so smooth.
I'm having to run-in (break in) both the PCX and a Yamaha YBR Custom prior to a trip (to Barcelona) that myself and a couple of mates are doing in June. I need to get both bikes to their first service and ready for the trip. The second YBR is already run-in and has been serviced.
The YBR has a slight vibration (not bad, but it's there) at high revs - the Honda is like silk. After riding the YBR, the PCX with no gears, just point and squirt - and the combined braking means one only uses the left lever most of the time. I LOVE it! My mate Richie has got the best ride on this trip I reckon - he's using my PCX - while myself and another mate are riding the Yammies.
