Vibration shudder taking off

A 2 second shudder from 0-5 mph taking off, def feels belt related. Running the accessory sliders and vario, 2600 miles on bike.....opinion to fix?

Clutch shoes are glazed.. remove bell and roughen up the clutch pads. I have a video on how to change the pads to a different part number that worked for my PCX.. I still have the PCX but now almost extensively ride my 300 FORZA.. much better bike!!

Now, now easyrider, everything is relative. Many of us love our PCX and think it is just what we need, so it is better for us than a Forza. :-)

Speaking from my own perspective of course after riding both bikes . I do agree however that many have other opinions.Curious point though..I wonder how many have ridden both and find the PCX better ??

Did you get the same sensations with the stock parts in place?
Honda usually sorts their bikes driveability pretty well.
Low speed judder is most often down to clutch and belt. Glazed clutch pads, flopping belt not sized correctly to aftermarket parts.
Not a PCX owner - but found the Forza a delight to ride - save for a bit of vibro only at idle. As for my several yrs with a Kymco...the orig. Kymco parts are better than any aftermarket stuff.
Clean your clutch surfaces and look for oil/grease on belt & its contact surfaces.

Not to derail the topic, but I think we have the takeoff shudder sorted, so let me throw in my vote on Easyrider's question:

I have both scooters and love both equally, just like my grandbabies, BUT if it's nice and warm out and I don't have to go to the grocery store or go out of town, I always take the PCX 'cuz I think it's more fun to ride.

That's my .02

I too have both machines. If it is just me, the PCX is far more fun (I don't have need of anything over probably 50 mph) and will be my choice every time. For two-up, the Forza is the winner.

Simple DIY should solve the issue.
