Hi, I´m having trouble with my 2016 pcx 150. My fuel gauge is blinking (all bars) and the bike doesn´t start.

I´d appreciate very much to receive the service manual and disassemble the fuel pump and check the wiring.

Did you check to see the tank has fuel? The blinking means it is running out of fuel, or is out of fuel. The not starting goes with that possibility. Someone could have siphoned the fuel out for their own use...

The fuel pump is separate from the float and fuel level sending unit. Even if the sending unit sent the message you had no fuel the pump would still pump what was in the tank, so if there was a full tank you could drive for 100+ miles without issue, other than not being exactly sure of how much fuel you had left in the tank.

Rather than disassemble the system, the recommended method is to turn on the ignition and listen for the pump to pressurize the system, assuming the tank has fuel.

Yes, but he said "My fuel gauge is blinking (all bars)". When low, or out of fuel only the one bar blinks, not all of them.

yes, exactly. Tank is full and the fault is random. When occurring the pump makes no noise and ignition does nothing.


Acc. to the owner´s manual it´s a fuel gauge fault and needs to be taken to the dealer.

I´d be very happy if someone could send me the service manual.-
