Agree.

My impact gun will go up to 450Nm which is 9 times what the crank nut should be done up to...no way should it be used!

For those of you in the UK here is a link to a good variator/clutch holding tool;

Though you could easily make one in about 10 minutes using some strips of iron and a a few bolts.

This just arrived at my house yesterday. It is one heavy duty impact wrench indeed. It's the corded type...no batteries. Now I know why they called it Kawasaki Heavy Industries.

I placed it over the Honda PCX Service Manual to give you an idea of it's heft.

Comes with a nice case, instructions, and 4 SAE type sockets. In this pic the protective plastic cover is still on the 1/2 inch drive. I'm just going to use it for removing stubborn nuts along with my Motion Pro Holding Tool. . .not re-installing them. I have a torque wrench and will use that with the holding tool for re-tightening. :geek:
