It's an old interweb chestnut. It's vaguely possible but in reality won't happen. Good for clicks.

I do not understand, the air filter for PCX (2012-2014) and (2015-2017) the same or not? For 2012-2014 part number - 17210-KZR-600, and for 2015-2017 - 17210-K36-T00 (now I have this installed). What article to order for my PCX 2015 LED, can I use the old PCX article, it details more often in stock ?

I noticed that Honda is using the same filter for their click 125 and the PCX. Looking at photos I figured it is still the same filter since the PCX 2012.

Thread update: I ended up not changing the filter after that photo but the Honda mechanic changed it during my 14000 kms oil changed few months back. Im at around 23000 kms now, and will change the belt at 24000kms, my stock IRC seems ready to retire as well, rear brake pads almost there too..

Does this looks like it need changing? Or I can still get away with just blowing pressurized air to clean it.

Scoot's 10 month old and 10000 kms odo (6200 miles).
If you're concerned about the air filter preventing crud from being injested - no problem, just bang that large stuff out of the old filter and it will probably keep new crud from getting past it.

But if you're concerned about peak engine performance, that dirty old filter is going to restrict airflow as well as crud. So you should get a new one that will allow less restricted free breathing by the engine.

For the 2015 Honda PCX 150 air cleaner element here is some info from Bike Bandit (American web site). Take a look around. They make it easy to locate diagrams and parts for various brands of bikes and scooters. Hope it helps even though you are on a different part of this planet. That being said they do ship internationally as well. 8)

My question was: are the air filters of the old PCX 150 and the new PCX 150 LED interchangeable, they are very similar in the picture, but have different articles.

Did not wonder what air filter is suitable, ordered the original for PCX LED 2014-2017, generation V3. Replaced the 4200 km mileage filter and oil, bought everything in the original Honda. The filter was sent from Thailand, the oil in the engine from Belgium.
