Dodge Demon
This car is out, saw it on the news today. The Dodge Demon is the first production car to pull the front wheels off the ground stock. Incredible 840 horse power. What happened to crappy hybrid and electric cars This is a Porsche eater

Oooh. Want.
Trouble is it'll be expensive over here. £40k plus for a V8 mustang on this side of the pond.

Re: Dodge Demon
Gonna be expensive and love to see how the 30 minute warranty reads.. Street legal ?? No way with the exhaust and slicks alone.. Wonder how it would do against a done up VIPER.

Re: Dodge Demon
And it comes with a theftproof device mounted on the front, a Dodge badge
Here in Oz, anything with a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep badge has a reputation of breaking down as they leave the dealer's driveway. You need a particularly thick hide to buy a Jeep here. Their dealerships are well known for their "deny everything" attitude.

I've not had any lingering problems with mine, but still I'm not buying one ever again...

Re: Dodge Demon
As much as the testosterone loves a car like this, my guess is that it will be a niché market car that will not last.

Re: Dodge Demon
Could never quite figure out why anyone would want something like this. I had friends that had the original Roadrunners Super Bees and Dusters-overpowered tin crates.
For me now a class 8, 15 litre diesel truck- now your talking muscle.
2000 lbs torque 600 hp, if you want to grunt, anything else just a flash in the pan.

Re: Dodge Demon
When I was still in High School back in the '70s one of the rich kids in my grade had a Dodge Charger 440 with a "Six Pack". He put those things on the car that shifted the weight to the rear wheels when things got intense and the pedal was to the metal. They lightened up the front end . . . hence the "wheelies". I got a ride in it once. Rode like a daily driver until you said "game on".This car is out, saw it on the news today. The Dodge Demon is the first production car to pull the front wheels off the ground stock. Incredible 840 horse power. What happened to crappy hybrid and electric cars This is a Porsche eater
If I ever hit the "big lotto" a new Dodge Challenger would be on my wish list along with new digs and a few other things. . .Wide Glide, Porsche 911 Turbo (there is no substitute. . "Who's the U-Boat Captain"), and a Bentley.

Re: Dodge Demon
Just put some water sealer or caulk along where the windshield meets the metal and you'll be fine. Don't forget to lube the linkage for the 4WD lever.I've not had any lingering problems with mine, but still I'm not buying one ever again...
