Jge, That's a Dream Car!! Very, very Sexy! Have you named it?
Funny, "I never ever ever" thought that I would want a CorVette, never! Now? With the 2014/fifteens...I Would Love one!! I would have to Win one to own one. I tried, in a $100.00 raffle. My name not called.
Do you take the Vette out only in good weather? Or does your treatment of cquartz let you roll in all climate?
You mentioned that you'll be treating your PCX with this (sealant?) too..... or will a professional shop be doing it? Hard to do? Costly?
Sounds like a plan :P Ride more, toss cleaning. 8)

Thx, never owned a vette until this car, It's my only car and my daily driver, I don't believe in babying my toys, I use them, 13000 in the first year. . CQuartz is a DIY after polishing, I'll do a complete step by step on the PCX in about 10 days......should be about 3 hours start to finish with my new cordless orbital.....

It looks nice. I bet it passes everything on the road but a fuel station though.

You'd be surprised, 29 on the highway, 18 city.....but being retired, I could care less about mpg....

That's the best attitude to have. You can't get grunt without burning a bit of fuel.
I drove a Mercedes CL55 amg and had the fuel consumption display reading 4mpg at one point.

Yup, and actually the vette was an instrumental part of getting the PCX. Seemed stupid to fire up 465 hp to go run around the neighborhood to hang with friends and neighbors. Others had golf carts, the pcx was my answer!

I àm glad for you. I hope you enjoy many years with it. When I purchased my Santa Fe in 2003, I told my wife at that time that it would be my last car. Well in 2008 my wife needed another car so we bought a new Sonata for her. I still have my Santa Fe and she still has her Sonata. When I look at the new, beautiful cars on the market now, I drool a little. They are very nice looking, but no payment beats beauty now for me, since I am retired. To those who can afford a new car, especially a Corvette, I applaud you.

Def my last car....LOL, I like fully paid for items that I can try diff things on, particularly detailing items that are new tech, stay tuned, I'll write them up here as I used them on the scooter. One is mind blowing for cleaning and protecting wheels, an all new way to keep them clean with no work....I hate scrubbing and buffing, esp with two slipped discs.....

So don't wash it.
Cars are for driving, not for wanking over.

Well, my Santa Fe was totalled so I guess we will have to do with my wife's car from now on. I am repairing the bikes after our accident so that at least I will have another vehicle to take for short runs to the store. But I really do miss my Santa Fe.
