I like it Ali!! 8) I bet the little folk in yer family love riding with you! Glad it suits You ;)

My niece and nephew were so anxious all the time to ride in my 70's Super Beetle (sunroof wide open). I'm sure it looked like a toy to them. Whoopeee
I loved that 60hp semi-auto Bug too. Those definitely were the days to buy a vehicle. I bought it brand new fully accessorized (bling/stripes, etc) for just $1,999.00 :D Amazing right?

And....What does an automatic Bug cost today? o_O

How is this for 3 wheels? Should likely be in the Other Bikes thread, but I thought this 3 wheels spot was a good place to put it.

Let's get updated
Feb. 2014 I posted on the Elio 3wheeler (car?) Where does it Roll now?

https://www.eliomotors.com (link Not working?)
Try this elongated version: http://eliogenuine.eliomotors.com/?sctp ... gQodXSYNwA

So yesterday, I dropped in on the Modern Vespa forum to see where things are at over there.
In their General Discussion an Elio thread is active. I was surprised at what I read about this tinker toy :) I'll be back later with a link to that Vespa thread, the forum is down at this time.

Folks mention several delays in the making of the Elio, some have money down on them and now the company offers stock to public. They have bought some of that too. Now they're worried. Should they be?

Are we missing out on something. Should we get-onboard with "Elio."
Expected Launch: 2016?
Or, Is this whole Elio bit a Scam?

Some new photo's taken from Elio's website: (Hey Mel! It's got a trunk for groceries 8) and quite a few colors to choose from. Sorry, I did not post them all.

I think it is cute. It does fit 2, but then no groceries. Still, if you think about it, it would be great for 90% of the running around most of us do. Going to work would be fun! My wife laughs at it and reminds me that my back would not like the seat in it. But it is so cute!

:? homie bro, look back at open rear hatch pic. Rear seat folds up and down. So, Elio has driver seat and rear seat. Wanna ride? :P

Ah Mel, there's enough grocery space left even with a passenger for those few necessity items (beer, beer and more beer
Seriously, a space of 27" X 14" remains behind an upright rear seat (See trunk photo)

Gosh, the youngin's would love riding in Elio!

Memories of 3 of us squeezed into a Messerschmidt in 1967 heading from Auchterarder into Perth on the A9. The old Cairnie Brae had us down to 10MPH. Fun carefree times :D

Top of the Day to Ya!

Word: Vulnerable

Woke this morning and asked self,... "Self, how does one protect an Elio from demons and goblins?"
Will one use chains, with bits n bolts driven into concrete to fasten their 3bee at their local "market?"
So, wazz up with that part of yer happy ownership?

Right! One must up the anti on their insurance and still...bid a farewell to their young Elio :(
The Devil, she is Bad ("she" is Bad)
Oh, oh young Elio your forecast is dimming, "I See a Bad Moon on the Rise." :geek:

$$$ are adding up folks! $6,800 with plus'
But, wadda ya care if ya got the bucks! Splish Splash and Spent! Be Happy :P :P

Update!
Just asked the lady speaker on google how much an Elio is. She gave me the number above. But wait!!
She also told me "it's" coming in 2017! Huh?

The "Waiting Game"
Brought to you by: Milton Bradley, Parker Bros, Hasbro, Lego (ah, that's a goodie), Mattel, Melbourne House, Nintendo (game on), Red Raven (sounds spot on)

That's All Folks!
