The veggie oil is much more expensive than road fuel...... before the tax gets added.
Tax makes up more than half the cost of road fuel.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Resurrecting this old tread but I had a veg oil burning car in my work today and it stunk out the place. It smells like a rotten old chippy now. Exhaust extractors to full throttle captain. :(

Though they are offering more diesel run vehicles now, the price of diesel fuel is higher than gas. As much as I like good gas mileage, there is a lot to think about when it comes to diesel vs gas these days. IF I could afford a new car I would have to weigh not only dependability, but also miles per gallon, and the new vehicles are getting really good gas mileage. Instead, I have a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe with 80 K miles that I bought new in 2003 and it has had almost no problems at all. I don't like the gas mileage but it is paid for, and that trumps gas mileage.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

my daily driver has over 266,000 thousand miles on it and it drives fine! No problems, keep up the maintenance on it and you still have plenty of life left on that thing!

My mustang has 197,000 miles and runs great. No problems just some wear and tear. I only put 10000 on myself though. I gets driven once a week and that's it. Otherwise it just sits in the lot
