Minivan?? I love my Volvo. We bought it because we do dog transport for various Rescue organizations, mostly Jack Russells but sometimes other types. Sometimes we get a call to pick up multiple dogs at the same time. Recently we carried 6 of them to a rescue in South Carolina. The Volvo came in very handy because we had them separated in different crates. We NEVER transport animals unrestrained in some way. Our own dogs have seatbelt harnesses.

People like you are undervalued in our society. The "stupid people" get all the news and attention and the ones who are trying to make the world a better place are often left out of the picture. Thanks for helping those dogs. I have a daughter who works on a Farm with over 50 rescued horses. . .not to mention other animals and assorted critters. . . and she absolutely loves her job and there is nothing else she'd rather be doing. 8)

What many people don't understand is that we don't get reimbursed for our efforts, and we really don't want to be. We do this out of love for animals.
There seems to be some misconception that animals can't feel love for humans, and that they don't care how we treat them. That may be so for wild animals. I don't know that much about what they feel because I don't have any.
One thing that I know is that dogs in general want to feel secure. They want to know that someone cares. Dogs have been domesticated to the point now that they are like children. They want approval. They want to know that they belong. They are pack animals, so belonging to the pack is important. I have watched ones we have rescued change for the better in a very short amount of time.

To be frank the only reason supercar drivers park in front of anywhere is to get attention from "the poor".

I see d!ckheads who couldn't drive to save themselves make complete assh@les out of themselves on the streets with lots of noise fairly regularly.

Unfortunately for most supercar drivers, their intentions are inversely proportional to their capabilities.

And Starbucks coffee is not the greatest, in the same way a Big Mac is about as far removed from a tasty burger as it's possible to get.

Three years ago my wife announced she was buying a recently born Jack Russell pup from a cousin of hers, the pup was already named and the wife decided to stick with the name.
Our Jack Russell is called Maddie.

That is interesting. Maddiedog's (Dave's) dog is named Maddie.
Jack Russells are a different kind of dog. They are a fun dog that has its own agenda. I love my 4 Jack Russells.

Ah, Maddie, are you a good Dog?:-) No?? Well welcome to the Jack Russell Club, where Jack Russells can just be dogs, and can have fun.

:o See, THAT is what I mean. Dogs just want to be near their owners, and help when they can. Give Lulu a part to chew on and she will do her best for you. :D

By the way, what do you have on your floor. Is that just paint, or do you have some kind of mat down?

It's just a painted concrete floor.

That's my car vacuum and the kettle is in the garage as the Aga is off for the summer. Simples.

She doesn't chew things as she is a laydee. I had to hand feed her a boned chicken thigh today.

According to my wife one should never give a dog cooked bones so I regularly have to strip any leftovers off the roast chicken carcass for the dog rather than just letting her have it to play with.
