Otherwise that is one striking looking scooter, even more so than the C600 or Tmax 530.
If you look closely you can see a set of serrated foot peg's, below and a little rear of the swingarm pivot.
I thought those were passenger pegs, and that they would probably do for off-roading.
But then i noticed above that looks like folded away triangular passenger pegs?
Now if only it had cup holders...

Yup. My friends seen on EICMA this year in flesh and bone.

Me likes the looks of it (for a split second) but honestly I would not ride one as I see it completely pointless.

Here are some videos I found. They are very promotional in nature. Would love to see a solid YouTube review on it.

Ouu...it's got heart! 8) Listen 8) I still like this Scoot, And yes, I feels funny calling it a scoot. How about Enduro?

Question: Why all the smoke coming out of the exhaust whilst pulling the throttle? Is that normal?
I didn't realize at first sighting, that the tailpipe was pitched so high to the sky. Will outdoor elements find there way in and be a problem later? You know, while it's parked outdoors (Not undercover)?
I never gave "That" a thought to be honest.

Not sure about the huge space between the rear fender and tire, but I guess I could get use to that as long as it doesn't fling anything my way

Oh, I found metric specs: http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/rang ... tions.html
From videos I just watched, you have the shift paddles on the left grip, and drive mode on the right (including neutral).

I don't see the off road foot pegs on the production model, so good luck doing the average daily Scottish commute...

I sat on one at the NEC. It's even more of a compromise than the Integra. Restricting feet positions and not the most comfortable scoot.

I too love the look/styling of it...would have brought one if available now.....needed to change bike, Honda could not give a firm date of when it would be in the country....so I went for a Burgman.
One sale lost.

Any News out there?
I really want to read updated info stating that Honda is (at least) considering selling the X-ADV in the USA. I find nothing. "No news is good news," heh? Arg!

Here's the website I got those recent photo's from. There's more to be seen https://www.thebikemarket.co.uk/honda/x-adv

It IS DCT.

I sat on one at the NEC last year and got the full run down from the Honda reps. They were either hard selling it or there was a LOT of interest as it always had a crowd round it.

Doesn't tick my boxes but I guess for some it's going to.

Would love to know what the sales figures are, great looking bike but that price is eye watering, surely thats going to put people off, or is it aimed at the very well off as a weekend plaything? hmmm
