Yamaha Majesty 400

Post by kramnala58 »

I have an opportunity to purchase a Yamaha Majesty 400 back in the US. I have registered on a Majesty forum to learn more about them, but wondering if anyone here has experience with them and can offer me some insight or advice. It is a 2009 with 4,000 miles for just under $3,000.

Won't have ABS, has three air filters which require regular changes and can be expensive, valve clearance adjustment is shims with an interval of over 20,000 miles.
Very high spec machine at the time and top quality componentry.
If it was available with ABS I would have one.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Coming from you, I take that as a fairly strong endorsement. Thanks

had one, great capable scooter. air filter solution is to buy air filter foam in coarse and fine, make your own out of them and keep them cleaned and oiled. valve check as noted is 46000 km for the first one. oil, tires, brakes and gas are you only expenses for a long time
