Got a new bike - Trek Marlin 5

Just got a new bike today - I've named it "kraut" since the colors remind me of the German flag :D

Kraut - (often initial capital letter) Older Slang: Disparaging and Offensive. a contemptuous term used to refer to a German, especially a German soldier during World War I or II.

Maybe a different name would be better on a website with international members ;)

Oops, sorry PingGam - I didn't realize it was offensive. I'll probably trade this in (shop gives 30 days to do so) for the Marlin 6 which has some better features and different color scheme so I'll need to come up with a new nickname anyway :D

By the way, I saw on Trek's website that they have several electric bikes for slightly less money than the PCX, they look very stealthy and might be a good alternative to the scooter for someone who doesn't need to go very fast - here's a link to their Dual Sport + model:

Doesn't appear to have an engine fitted, WTF?
Take it back, demand a refund.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

I know - you have to be crazy peddling around in this heat! Anyway, I did take it back but I replaced it with a Marlin 6 - here's my expert review :D
