Heh hey tommy! That's a charming little scoot and you purchased the right color! :D Cheers and Welcome aboard!
So where will you be riding your New two wheeler? In what part of the world?
Please tell us your location by adding it to your profile. Below I posted some easy directions to get that done.

Here in NY our weather is steadily warming up, but now word has it that snow is coming our way again this Sunday!!

My first scooter was a 2009 Honda Metro, or Jazz in Canada. Put 28,000 km on that baby with flawless performance. Sold her for a PCX so I could get out of town.
Happiness is two wheels and a full tank of gas!

My first scooter was a Met as well - a fantastic choice for first time riders or city dwellers. I much prefer the single color over the two color versions Honda usually made available to us here in the states. Welcome Tommy.

It's cute, but it does very nice in person. The anti-Ruckus I'd say.

I like the new metro. Nice design, and somewhat Vespa-ey. It's not popular with some of the Metro-ites, but change is always uncomfortable.

My question may sound strange to those who use them, but how comfortable are they to control? They seem so cramped when you are riding. I have never ridden one, or any scooter that looks like that. How do you plant your feet in front of you while steering without wanting to put your feet out to the side as you turn or lean, or even ride? I know that I will probably end up being one of those old people who ride around on a 'Rascal" scooter, though I hope not, but it has 3 wheels for balance. I think it would take quite a bit of practice to get use to riding one.

I had a Yamaha Vino as my first scooter. I'm 5'10" and at times the bars would bang my knees. They are fun, and indeed a bit like riding a minibike, but you get used to it. For basic commuting in an urban setting, the small size is excellent. As far as leaning, it's not all that disconcerting, though you don't have all that much power to pull yourself out of the corner.
