2009 Honda Silverwing 600cc . good deal to buy?

Post by MikeP »

Hello all, I have a chance to buy a 2009 Silverwing, mint condition, 16000km for 4400.00 asking price. Origional owner and private sale. Does anyone know what the market value would be. Trying to figure out if it is a good deal or not. Thanks in advance.

The price seems high to me, at least for the U.S.

It is a very nice bike. See if there is a. Craigsliist there. Alßo, go to scooterfinds.com.... You can put in the criteria and see what pops up. From what I am seeing on it right now the price you are looking at is a little high. It looks like an average in the USA is between $3500 and $4000 in good shape with not too high of miles on it. That one you showed us a pi ture of is loaded so $4000 would be good, IF the mileage is not too high.

Looking from a UK point of view....with those miles I think it is keenly priced, but that is over here...things seem to be cheaper Stateside so probably room for negotiation.

It looks to me like a very good buy, but I'm looking from some distance away.
$4400 Canadian is about £2300 or $3300 US

If that is Canadian pricing, that is a good price for it.

Well after careful analysis, I realized the PCX really suits my lifestyle. I plan to put it on the back of my camper, so weight is a consideration. I have done some mods to it so it really goes. It would be nice to have more power, but this unit is well balanced for an all around bike. And..... ... I like windsurfing now that I have developed my goosy loosy technique! :D

You're right! the PCX is surely more apt to fit the back of a camper. Perhaps upgrade both? :P it's a good excuse anyway
RV + Silverwing.....Has a nice ring to it!

I'm thinking that day just might come ;) in the meantime, Love the one you're with.....your PCX
