Re: Best vario

Hmm, sounds juicy. I've been having issues regarding lag on takeoff from a standstill lately. Almost felt like a stock PCX with the lag. Swapped out the clutch, didn't help. The mechanic suggested a stiffer spring, which is a little confusing since I'm pulling at 8500-8800 rpms when it finally DOES...

Re: Kickstarter. Why isn't it stock on our bikes?

. Fuel Injected bikes and scooters don't come with kick starters. . Part of problem is you have to have a minimum voltage at the battery or the ECU and FI will not work. . Not sure what that voltage is for the PCX. . Also, adding kick starter cost money, adds weight, and drag on transmission parts. ...

Re: Bar risers and mirror extenders

. If my picture comes out, the mirror, item 24, and the opposite side mirror are both 10mm left hand threads . Item 30, the locking nut, is left hand thread . . The adapter, item 27, is left hand thread on top, and right hand thread on bottom . . I have a 2013 PCX150 bought in US. I have no idea if ...

Re: Location! Location! Location!

:) Just Asking: I've been thinking about this for awhile, perhaps you have too. I'm a believer that listing ones location (while registering or anytime shortly thereafter) has it's benefits. Like it has more pros than cons. Pros being we can help one another to a greater degree, and cons being priv...

Re: Bar risers and mirror extenders

Speaking of mirrors/mirror extenders (have some extenders on my bike), I find that one of my mirrors is constantly working loose, even before installing my extenders. I'm reluctant to use thread locker on it, does anyone have a suggestion? Lock washers, maybe? Vodoo? Swearing and spousal interventi...

Re: CVT mods for PCX 150?

Mine didn't shudder but I added a 0.5mm spacer to increase rpm. You can use a washer. . Hay wingz, what is the placement of the washer?? . thanks Sean Hi Sean I'm not sure I understand the question. You put the spacer between the boss and the outer pulley. This has the same effect as having a longe...

Re: Tire Size?

Hay Kramnala, on your front city grip, did you go up in size or stay with the 90/90 ? Sean ... I put the 120/70 on the front and the 140/70 on the back. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it lifted the rear splash guard slightly but did nothing with the front fender. A few months ago I swapped out ...

Re: Tire Size?

I have a 140/70-14 City Grip on the back of my PCX. I noticed a difference in handling as soon I installed it and the City Grip on the front as well. You may need to lift the rear fender though because it is very close. I was able to lift mine because I put on an aftermarket canister shaped breathe...
