Re: How-To: Oil Change For Honda PCX
A. My puppy Baxter just might need an oil change, who says? 2. Who says i am rational? Seriously, I was looking on the wrong frickin' side for the bolt / cover for the oil screen, no wonder I didn't find it. Now that I have found it, yes, I think I can do this! Serously. A puppy will never need an o...

Re: How-To: Oil Change For Honda PCX
I just didn't read the first post carefully enough. I was looking on the wrong side for the bolt / cover for the oil screen, once I looked at the correct side (the left side, just like says), sure enough, there it was. So, other than concerns about rounding the bolt with a 17mm socket, I think I am ...

A Lesson About Target Fixation
Delivery day on my 2014 Forza 300ABS back in September 2013 was a happy day. http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s406/Anderson5420/Forza-DeliveryDay9-20-13.jpg I put about 2,000 miles on it between delivery and May 2015. In May, I started riding with a scooter group in Bellingham, WA. We were on a r...

Re: How-To: Oil Change For Honda PCX
OK, thanks. I know what the screen looks like, I just don't know where it is located! I hope the pic will show that! Don't get over concerned about rounding the bolt. Take your time and use the proper socket and it will work fine. Just because you read it once does not mean they all do that. I'll be...

Re: How-To: Oil Change For Honda PCX
Sorry if I am stupid, but I have a 2013 PCX150 (my wife's) and a 2015 PCX150 (mine, to replace the 2014 Forza so my wife and I can ride toether). The 2013 is due for its first oil change (overdue on time, not nearly due on mileage, so I am not concerned), so I found this thread. A couple of issues. ...

Re: Sad to replace my PCX with a bigger bike
PCX 150s can go on the freeway but secondary roads are better, somewhat slower speeds with some reserve acceleration just is safer and more comfortable. The Forza has quite a bit more reserve acceleration for the freeway but even then nothing like a larger MC. The PCX 150 seems to me actually to be ...

Re: Introducing Ourselves!
Love to, Joe! Do you ever get up to Whatcom County? I don't get down to King County much, but I bet we could hook up some time in Snohomish County or Skagit County for some backroads rides! I really enjoyed going from Sumas to near the end of the road on the Mount Baker Highway! Hey Pat. We met a fe...

On another forum I frequent a lot, editing is only allowed for 30 minutes...the period here seems to be much shorter. I am OK with whatever it is, as long as I know the drill.

Great Ride Today!
The weather here on the Upper Left Coast has been just spectacular, and I decided it was too good not to go for a ride! The first 27 miles or so, from Birch Bay to Lynden and then on to Sumas (fire up Google Maps, boys and girls) were boring, straight as an arrow and absolutely flat. But from Sumas ...

Re: Introducing Ourselves!
Must have missed it then...I noticed a typo immediately before anybody had replied, looked for an Edit button and did not see it. BTW, absolutely drop dead gorgeous weather here in the Pacific Northwest, definitely going for a ride on some rural county roads today! [On edit: doggone it! The Edit but...

Re: Introducing Ourselves!
Well at the risk offending our Canadian friends, I would say tha BC would be wonderful as ou 51st state! And Alberta as the 52nd! Beyond that, those other provinces should probably remain part of Canada! Canada is beautiful on both the eastern and the western sides. However, if I had to choose a sid...

Crazy Deals on PCX 150s?
I bought Patty's2013 PCX 150 in March (ordered remotely while in Arizona, took delivery in April after returning to Washington), and its base price was $2,999, which seemed to about where all of them were (I had checked a number of places). When I took my Forza into my local dealer (Lifesyles Honda ...

Re: Will be getting new 2014 Forza next Friday
Congrats on the Forza! I have had a 2014 Forza ABS for about a year and a half (purchased October 2013), have 2,000 miles on it. It is a lot heavier than a PCX 150 and I would definitely agree with putting the side stand down when dismounting, then going to the center stand. It seems there are a lot...

Re: Introducing Ourselves!
Hey! We just got our NEXUS cards, so maybe we could come up for a ride if you are not up to coming down! Do you ever ride down to the States? Patty is not much up to long rides, but I might be! Hey Pat just up the road long one on a pcx I might add Squamish BC the weather is starting to look like th...

Re: Introducing Ourselves!
Thands! My wife rides the PCX 150, and she wanted the mid-height windsheild so she could see over it, as she was concerned about getting caught out in the rain and not being able to see through the tall windshield. She also does not ride on freeways, she likes country roads at 45 - 50 mph. But we'll...
