Re: Acceleration test
NCY drive face + variator + 13 gr rollers + aftermarket clutch bell... It *feels* faster than this to me. Pretty sure it's GPS lab most of the time (this is my best time. I have gotten up to 6.9 second, with most being around 6.4... but then again, it also depends on the time. wonder if a different ...

If that's correct... then that definitely answers the question as to whether using gear oil might be better.
Amazing.

Re: 2019 NCY Variator/Drive face upgrade - no improvement at
Thats the thing, I do have the outer drive face and no change in top speed if anything it has dropped to ~66mph. This is rev limited top speed too. I thought going too light on the rollers did impact top speed? Maybe the 2019 is different because it should have 15g stock if I'm recalling correctly ...

Re: DEFINITIVE List of Upgrades for Those Wanting MORE Top S
Got a 2016 PCX for the wifey. Mine's in the shop getting rear tire replaced and brakes checked, probly replaced since the fluid level was low. Think I'm somewhere like 14,500 mileage??, so perhaps? I've tried incorporating more "front brake etiquette" into my riding, so probly yes - needs ...

Re: Is it reasonable to take a PCX on a cross country trip
After posting in this thread yesterday, I ride in to work with some winds that must've been going 20 mph or faster. Surely, on a cross-country trip, you'd experience winds like this. Are you ready for them? Can't remember where I read this, but if a wind is coming from your right side, you can strai...

Re: Rain Riders
I leave my bike outside, uncovered. No problems until a couple months ago, it rained pretty hard outside... and then my dash light kinda started randomly going out a couple times until it wouldn't light up anymore. I'm sure that's not a cheap fix!

Re: Is it reasonable to take a PCX on a cross country trip
I would only do it if I upgraded the variator/rollers/belt/etc.... There are long stretches of highways around here, where 45 means 60 and 55 means 70. The beautiful thing about the PCX is that 70+ is obtainable with $100 or so in parts. This will give you an extra belt and necessary tools ahead of ...

Re: Effects of Extended Use At/Near Governed Top Speed
I ride my 2013 PCX more than 40 miles round trip, every day... almost entirely at 65 to 70 mph. Have to tuck sometimes to get an extra 5 mph or so... But 70 mph is the going rate of speed on a 55 mph road. It's pretty awesome how I can prettymuch just keep the throttle wide open and simply sit up to...

Re: Glad I rode!
The cold is starting to shove it's way south now. I'm wondering how many good riding days are left this year. Tomorrow night it is suppose to drop down into the 20's....and it will be raining before that. Not a good combination. Luckily, I work outside... So I have to dress for the outside anyway. ...

Re: << 2020 vs 2019 Differences >>
It hasn't been officially mentioned anywhere.... But the SH150i is getting a resigned 4 valve engine. And the SH150i shares the same engine with the PCX.... So there's a pretty good chance the PCX will get this same, newly redesigned engine. But at the same time, if there's a lot of extra, old 2 val...

Most obvious solutions are to:
Check the kill switch
Check the side stand switch
G'Luck!
