Engine braking is not coasting. Coasting is disengaging from the engine. When you let off the throttle on the PCX it does engine brake due to the CVT Transmission down to about 10 mph. I would say coasting is the wrong term (at least to me) as this involves disengaging the gear completely. I do not engine brake. I am from the side that believes braking is done by replaceable brake pads and rotors. That said, I do not live in a hilly area. Illinois is mostly flat. I was taught to engine brake at the MSF course. It made no sense to me. I've never had a automatic car, so to not burn out...

Kind of hard to tell in the video, but where is the temperature sensor placed?

the top speed that it hits on the center stand is the top speed the bike will actually go. this is because the speed sensor is directly in the rear trans of the bike. now it all depends on How Heavy You Are , what kind of resistance is holding you back. bigger tires, wind, etc... You're damn skippy...

hows your off the line grunt Off the line is about the same as stock. As Demonkid said, the performance gain is in the mid to upper range. Slightly better acceleration from 50Mph to Top speed and a better exhaust note. Don't expect to get miracles here. This is just a small incremental improvement.

its not hype its just not too noticeable in a lot of cases but it took me from 55 on an uphill to 60 with very similar conditions (weather, traffic, wind) also higher top speed from 70 to 74 on flats. so not huge numbers but its way smoother.
