Re: Fat bastard.

I ride 60 miles a week... forget it, the exercise just makes you hungrier. On the other hand, it does make your heart stronger which is beneficial especially if you are heavier. My brother in law was having chest pains when we climbed hills. Got checked out and he had an artery (or arteries?) 80% bl...

Re: New GPR Furore Exhaust

I looks great but it seems like they ran it kind of low. Have you tilted the bike over to see if the pipe or muffler is the first thing to touch the ground? Also, is there a noticeable performance increase when riding?

Re: Observation report: Leaning!

Yes, some of that Mulholland pavement looked pretty lousy. Almost like fiber was laid and the pavement was patched shabbily, probably just repaired faults from shifting earth though. I hit a bad trench at 90 degrees Tuesday. Some sort of water pipe repair (I think) about a foot wide that must have s...

Re: Game Changing Power Increase on 2015's?

No, I think the guide is wrong. 2013 150s were always listed as 13.5 HP. If they were now 13.9 then that would be something.

Re: Best waterproof cover for PCX 125?

I have the Honda cover, like it a lot. My only issue is the mirrors are sometimes bent down (up at the top of the mirror stem at the ball joint) from putting the cover on and taking it off so I have to readjust them before a ride. I don't see any way of tightening the mirrors.

OK. Got it... http://www.bikerzbits.com/honda-pcx-125i-convenience-hook-accessory.html What do you think of it ? I think it looks nice and may work well for carrying. It would be better if it could be installed in the middle so the weight of bags is not off-center and possibly cause problems with t...

Re: On Board Cameras

I'd like to get one. Leaning towards the Garmin Virb Elite because I want the telemetry data in the film or the GoPro Hero3 because I can buy the little GoPro add-on that lets me use the Sena mic so I can talk during the filming. If only there was a plug-in for the Sena to use with the Garmin, would...

Re: Another reason to be in ATGATT:

That has happened here on Sea World drive with bad results for the bike rider that was in the bike path. Person was trying to go around stopped traffic from a light ahead. Actually here's one that happened last month. Fiesta island is heavily used by bicyclists to do laps. There's a road that enters...

Re: Does more money = a better helmet?

My top concerns are does the helmet fit well and is comfortable, does it have very little wind noise (even with the visor open), is there a slot for my glasses, have removable pad inserts and is it compatible with the Sena communications system? If it passes all that and says DOT on the back I proba...

Re: 2013 Performance

Yeah, I'd like to lose about 40 lbs and become more aerodynamic but I'm finding it to be very hard to do. My wife is a good cook. Back up plan is to add a little bit of HP to the PCX. Probably just Exhaust (eventually), free flowing air filter and maybe try the performance spark plug thingies.

Re: Another reason to be in ATGATT:

Thing is, a person like that (the soccer mom that you described) could leave 5 or 10 minutes earlier and not be "late" or whatever issue it is in their head causing them to drive like that, but they don't, because they are a loser. It's just very bad time management.

Re: 2013 Performance

I already have 15gr DR Pulley sliders on order. How much HP do you think is gained with a K&N pod filter and performance exhaust? What about the free-flow filter that fits into the PCX air box, seems much easier but is it much help? Does anyone have experience with any of the spark plugs that pr...

Re: Can't go above 55?

Some of these scooters have speedometers that are correct, and some don't. Mine seems to be right on the money based on the speed given whenever I ride past a speed display sign by the road (they seem to like to use a lot of those here in San Diego). I was surprised by this considering how much I'v...
