Just pulled the trigger

on a 2014 still in the crate Forza ABS. I pick it up next week tuesday. Looking forward to this. After visiting two dealers, and getting two different out-the-door quotes on the non-abs version, without too much hope I decided last night to look online at a third dealer. They had a bunch, so I went ...

Re: Stupid weatherman....

We might make it into the 50's today... Might. But it will be sunny. So wish I could go riding. My poor wife though, is taking the MSF class this weekend. They had 40's and medium to heavy rain all afternoon yesterday on the range. But like I told her last night, her skills are probably way better t...

Here they're starting to use a textured (sanded?) paint for bike lanes, and it's even starting to show up at crosswalks. Not slippery at all.

That would be the one. I love it. Light, great visibility, great venting, not too noisy. Came with a bag and the open-face visor option. Wish a pinlock option was available for it, but that would just be an extra.

Re: Motorcycle Clubs

Keep the discount, and look for other groups in the area. I seem to remember talk once of a scooter group in the Springfield area. Check on the standard scooter forums... http://modernvespa.com/forum/ , http://www.modernbuddy.com/forum/index.html , http://burgmanusa.com/forums/ , etc. Or check some ...

You've Been Sighted

Saw my first PCX on the road yesterday. Well okay, parked at the curb. A black one, on Wilson Dr in Shorewood, Milwaukee. Belong to anyone here?

Re: Skene Design P3 Lights installed

Make sure in your area that you can have a strobe on your vehicle. They will call that a strobe. The brake light flasher is legal everywhere, but flashing running lights may not be. They certainly aren't here.

Re: Anyone using the City Grip 150/70-13 rear on their Forza

Not an issue with the Forza, its an issue with the north american importers. In the UK there are plenty options available. http://tinyurl.com/p93ums5 Fair point. But despite who's to blame, having several tire choices and quick replacement would be a nice thing, and so far it seems that neither are...

Re: Anyone using the City Grip 150/70-13 rear on their Forza

It looks like I don't really have much choice as I am down to wear bar and the Honda/Dunlop tire is listed as being on back order. Also there are no other 140/70-13 even listed in Canada. That small change shouldn't have any effect on the ABS system, unless it's that unbelievably sensitive. But yes...

Re: Fat bastard.

Sadly that will be coming to an end all too soon here in Wisconsin and I will have to give up both. Friends of mine will tell you that winter riding is a blast! Easy to dress warm enough. I don't believe them, but they do ride everyday. And I see so many year-round commuters on the bike path behind...
