Re: Charging Capacity?

Can anyone point me to the charging capacity of our Forza's? I would like to know if I could run my GPS and heated vest without any problems. Thank you The accessory socket is located in the Left storage compartment, and is fused a meager 5A, that is 60W. The alternator itself is rated 380W@5000rpm...

Re: Forward attachment points for pillion cargo?

I also put stuff on the tunnel (the 'clothes bag' fits just tight enough to hold its own. Sorry, no pic, this forum wont accept the phone's high pixels) I hate top boxes, and think the Honda rack kind of cumbersome, so decided to use the threads provided by Honda (for rack install) to rig a simple c...

Re: where in the world do i find a 28 mm ssocket?

The 300 FORZA has a 30mm clutch nut (threads), BUT NEEDS A 41 mm SOCKET to remove it. Same principle applies to the PCX's 28mm (threads) nut. 39mm head? (I mesured my Forza's with a caliper, and found that 1-5/8" was right, and available) If 39mm, use 1-1/2"---and be wary of that SPRING, ...

Re: where in the world do i find a 28 mm ssocket?

Sorry, got some editing 'problem'...

My point : I have checked with my 2014 Metropolitan, which also has that 28mm-threads nut. It
needs a 39mm socket to be removed. The PCX is probably similarly arranged.

Re: Making the rear brake pads last???

Well, both front and rear pad materials on mine look exactly the same (impossible to upload photos from my Samsung, even at its lowest pixels option). Also, maybe Honda has made (hidden) changes to the pads...mine don't look at all like Mr. Jones' ones, shown above... Then my discs are still near-pe...

Re: Forza 300 flywheel puller

I have ordered the MP one Why? You are very unlikely to ever need one. Very unlikely, indeed. But I work on lots of other bikes, and lacked the M33x1.5 one, which is used by Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM among others. These flywheels can often be removed using the starter clutch threads +3 prong- type puller...

Re: Forza 300 flywheel puller

3 weeks later : I found that the puller is the same as the CH250's (1985 or so): M33x1.5. (Google says, when searching Honda p/n 07933-KM10001). MOTION PRO has it (p/n 08-0390), but they don't seem to be aware that it fits the Forza also. 135$ Honda vs 47$ Motion PRO... I have ordered the MP one fro...

Re: Making the rear brake pads last???

Nov 13/16 I pulled the caliper again at 6300 km on the current rear set. OK for now. Mine's also looked like that after 6000km. At 13000km they were worn out (1mm/2mm thick respectively). I checked the front ones at 13000km and they were about 45% worn. I'm not familiar with other scooter's wear pa...

Re: NSS300 Fuel Pump problems

The reason I wanted to do the job myself is exactly that: fear of having the f...ing plastics messed up. Even a good mechanic (not familiar with the model) can screw them easily. I have 'modified' mine so that the plastics are easier to remove/install (lots of grinding, filing implied). Is Honda lis...

Re: NSS300 Fuel Pump problems

The letter from Honda came last week (here in Canada). The dealer let me do the job myself, and bring him back the old one (from the first recall). The scooter was still working as new with 12500km on that pump, and there was no visual evidence of defect on it, compared to the new one. Some people s...

Forza 300 flywheel puller

Hi folks,

I'm new here. My Forza 300 doesn't need it now, but can anyone tell me what size/threads is the flywheel (alternator) puller for it? The shop manual says nothing about it, and I'm not sure
the pullers I already have would fit (M35x1.5, M33x1.5). Thanks.
