Re: 2018 Honda PCX Performance
Putting their elaborate sales pitch aside, if you send an offset temperature reading to the computer and that changes the air/fuel mixture to be richer, wont that help with performance? April 6 2018 .... Think about this: When a piston aircraft takes off, the engine is loaded and stressed to maximu...

Re: Heidenau K66 4-Season Scooter Tire
I use the K66s on my PCX (I know this is the Forza part ofthe forum, but the tires are practically the same, so I think it might be relevant). I have direct comparison to the oem IRCs and Michelin City Grips. To me they were much better than the oem IRCs in all situations. I've found them average on...

Re: Mixing different roller weights
It has nothing to do with what is on hand. It has ro do wirmth a more linear raise of the rpms somewhat combining earlier start and longer gearing at top speed. I suggest to search for a user called Bred, and read through his topic in the forza technical discussions named tuning the Forza variator o...

Hope all went well, and the only reason you don't report back is that you're still out riding with an ear to ear smile on your face.

Re: Front suspension upgrade
I think it was you giving me the tip of unscrewing the bottom bolt on forks half a turn in the first place while wheel and fork are still on- worked fine twice! Indeed it was me. It still holds much easier to loosen them wgike still mounted to the bike, and there's weight on them. But since I've bo...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Yup, The stock damping rods have four smaller holes at the bottom, all you have to do is to enlarge them to 6mm. I believe I went 6.5, but that's an overkill for really heavy oils. You want to make sure that the hole edges are really clean when you have finished, and everything is very clean when yo...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Absolutely helps! The 15W Ipone I purchased is 60.2 at 40C so it's going back for another brand. No preload caps will be installed. Am I still opening up the larger holes in the damper rod to 8MM on the valving? Thank you!!! Worst case you can mix two oils from the same product line to land at a de...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
FYI 4 years ago i had gotten some harder springs from the german PCX forum. They were sent in from Thailand. Unfortunately at the time i just measured length (which was -5mm from stock LED springs) and now i can't access them anymore since my pcx was stolen. They came in an Honda slip Packaging but...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Hi Scott, That's not even that bad. 132-97 = 35mm (just a sidenote, on my bike I measure 135mm from yoke to the wiper seal when I pull down the fork legs. its is due the top out spring, so in fact we cannot use the total travel, the last few mms are taken by the top out spring which helps to avoid b...

Re: Hi guys need help with tuning
Jcosta is unbeatable in acceéeration, and it has good top speed too. Downside that it wears our weights pretty fast, and it is the most expensive. Many US inmates like the NYC, but that's a foreign order, and I haven't tried that. I use a Malossi multivar 2000, very reliable, good top speed and good...

Re: bunny collision - broken body panels
Thanks Oya for the suggestion. I just checked the color code of my pcx, it is NH-A16P which is Pearl Cool White, I don't know if there is a huge difference between Pearl Jasmine White but probably there will be a visible difference, especially completely in the front where the two types of white 'm...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
I think the stanchion diameter is 31mm on the PCX, i need to check. I've seen the reduction of travel in the specs of the model, not tested yet. On the V4, i confirm you it's still a circlip on the top of the stanchion. I've seen on a document of YSS than they make top caps with or without threads ...

Re: bunny collision - broken body panels
I would not bother with either in this case. As I see you need the pearl jasmine white color right? In case you need only that part number is 64431-K35-V00ZC, and costs a ridiculous 12.99 USD from Partzilla.com. Why I use them as they have a fixed delivery fee, so anything below 40 USD value (yes, l...
