Re: Wiring diagram
This is a cell phone snapshot of the wiring diagram in my copy of the 2014/15 Forza NS300/A shop manual. The forum is limited in picture size. If you want the full 3.2 MB, 3264x2448 pixel photo, I would need a phone number or email address to which I could send it. Forza Wiring Diagram.jpg HTH, Mich...

Re: Cranks but doesn't start
Well, it IS fixed, but I don’t think that what the shop thinks it was is what it was. The relevant fuses were all good. My guess it that hurricane water got into something that just needed to dry out. The shop says that they just cleaned the engine cutoff switch and that fixed the problem. But go ou...

Re: GIVI Windshield
I have the Givi adjustable. I ride all year long (and right now the morning lows are hovering around the freezing point). Between the screen and a set of Urbano Tucano handlebar muffs and lap blanket, I seldom need any sort of rain gear. I have a set under the seat, but haven’t pulled them out an pu...

Re: Givi topcase on Forza
I also have the Givi Maxia 55 liter case on the back of my 2015 Forza 300. I don’t care that it looks too large; I care about ease of carrying capacity. I can do a hack of a grocery run with this beast in place. And, yes, that darned thing rattles. I fix one rattle with shims or weather stripping an...

Re: Forza fuses guidance.
Some are under the seat, some are under the right side trim panel above the glovebox. Open the glovebox and two screws become visible on the top edge, these hold the top trim panel on. Once this is off there's access to fuses and the indicator bulb. The other ones are under the battery cover. All o...

Re: Forza fuses guidance.
BTW, the shop manual isn't very forthcoming about fuse location apart from this one little bit of the wiring diagram. For instance, here are the initial diagnostics for checking the fuel pump (assuming, I suppose, one hasn't heard it pressurize when turning the key on): Screen Shot 2018-09-18 at 7.5...

Re: Forza fuses guidance.
Well, here's a start on fuse location. This is a clipping from the wiring diagram in my shop manual (US Model NSS300/A 2014-2015). N.b. that it refers to fuse boxes A, B, and C, but the owners manual refers to fuse boxes 1, 2, & 3. Very helpful, Honda. If the ACC slot is under the right side of ...

Re: Forza fuses guidance.
I'm searching the forum now, but thought I would ask while I do so:
Does anyone have a list of all the fuses' locations and functions? You know, the sort of thing where someone could look up the accessory fuse or (just to pick another one not entirely at random) the fuel pump?

Re: Cranks but doesn't start
Do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn ignition on?? I had that same thought this afternoon while I was at work. And my ever-less-reliable memory tells me that when I first cranked it this morning, it started to fire and then just went to cranking. So I have now done the following: 1) Turn...

Cranks but doesn't start
The Forza just had it's longest period of stillness since I rode it home. Last Thursday, in anticipation of hurricane Florence, I came home, parked the beast, and pulled the cover over. It sat there for four days without moving. This morning, with the skies finally clear, I went out, uncovered it, t...

Re: Making shutter key DIY (video)
As we used to say way back in the day, neato torpedo!
Do you think it would be possible to start by putting the three mini-magnets down on the shutter and then pressing the epoxy putty into place over them?

Re: Mail order keys???
I think Honda's policy on Forza keys is that you have to buy a new lock set and new keys. Sadly, this is also Givi’s policy. It does no good whatsoever to have the original key’s number. Want a replacement, they’re more than willing to sell you a set of cylinders and keys for however many bags you ...

For night time road visibility I have two Kawell spot lights. <snip> https://www.amazon.com/KAWELL-Light-Lights-Driving-Flood/dp/B01HT642WY/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1512405469&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=kawell+lights In the pictures at Amazon, the bulbs look yellow. Are the ligh...

Re: Headlights. replaced bulbs - stopped working
Just to be clear, both my paper-copy USA shop manual and the PDF of the UK owners manual I found online specify 35/35W bulbs. If the replacements you bought are 60/65W, things are going to burn out/up.

Here’s more or less what people see when they walk past the bike. It looks like nothing. IMG_2674.JPG Here’s the key-and-knob on the dining room table. IMG_2677.JPG I had done a similar thing with the Goldwing. The gas hatch and side pocket had locks that took the bike’s key. I got extra keys, bough...

Re: VERY inexpensive Trunk and mounting plate for Honda For
I do not like the key arrangement. It is possible to put the key inside the case and lock it inside. Not good. I took an old radio knob, cut one of the Givi keys, and epoxied the key into the knob. Now, I have a stealth key in there all the time. When parked, I turn the key just slightly to the rig...

Re: VERY inexpensive Trunk and mounting plate for Honda For
I like what you did. I am looking for a 55 litre top case that can take the abuse of a Forza on a gravel road. I have a GIVI plastic case and it rattles & buzzes like crazy. My previous GIVI was also the same. No more GIVI for me. I hated the Givi rattle as well, so I added some weatherstrip to...
