Re: 2021 PCX’s arriving at U.S. Honda dealers!
There’s no maintenance to be done on a PCX. I rode mine for five years and didn’t do anything except change the oil, which is literally unscrewing a bolt, letting the oil drain , replacing the bolt and pouring in more. You are concerned about nothing. And there are several Honda dealers right around...

You’ll be fine, use any major brand automotive oil that’s 10W-30 or 10W-40. It’s a scooter, not an F1 race engine.

Re: PCX 150 Hard to Start
Whatever you do, don’t try and start it 50 times. If it doesn’t start after three or four times, shut it down and figure out something else to do to solve the problem. You’re just gonna burn up your battery and starting mechanism.

Re: How Fast ?
You don’t have to tune the bike after adding a pipe or an air filter, it’s such a small engine that it won’t really do a whole heck of a lot of good and since the bike has computer control , there’s really nothing to tune.

Is this your first CVT scooter? My guess it’s just the operation of the variator… Normal…

Re: How to charge my mobile phone using PCX battery.
So what? There are many micro USB cables out there that fit a phone. Start looking on Amazon, not knowing what kind of phone you have, I imagine this one would work https://www.amazon.com/CableCreation-Micro-Compatible-Android-Tablet/dp/B01M5GZ3N0/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=MZGJ8NM1P1NV&keywords=micro...

There is no special cable. Any cable that has a USB that fits into the port on one end and the other end fits in your phone will work.

I’m put a Malossi pipe on my bike, it worked perfectly. I don’t see how you tune a pipe, the fuel injection system automatically takes care of anything, mine was absolute just bolt on and go.

Only thing I would do is change the oil annually.

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
I believe you’ve done all you can do to look into this problem without a complete tear down. Splitting the cases and looking at exactly how the oil is being contained in the crankcase is your only sure thing left, and that’s ridiculous to do , if the bike is running fine.

Re: Pcx any good for long distance travelling 200+ miles
I bought my first PCX in 2015, and a really good friend of mine about six months later moved in across the state. It is 210 miles from his house to my house and I was planning on riding over once a month to see him and stay with him while his wife traveled. I did it a couple times and decided that I...

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
I think we all agreed months ago this guy was a troll… The post never really made much sense… NCY makes a variator that allows you to get a few more miles per hour, but there’s nothing you can really do that will take a 150cc bike and magically make it do 80 miles an hour, where the stock top end is...

Stainless steel bolts… Stop obsessing about it and just tighten them down. If it worries you check them once a month, you’ll give up after a few months

Re: Lifespan
It’s not worth it, it’s a waste of money , it puts more used oil back out there in the environment, and it’s expensive. These bikes are made to run for hundreds of thousands of miles in all sorts of conditions. Extend your oil change interval to one year or 4000miles, that’s still OCD but will save ...

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
Seems to me you have two choices: completely tear down the bike, break open the cases and look to see if there’s anything that is causing the abnormal level. Or just ignore it. If you have absolutely the proper amount of oil in the crankcase and there are no leaks on the ground, I would ignore it.
