What are the emissions requirements for jewelry/accessories? Just don't accept any offers of help from VW. ;)
If you're quick enough to market, an ethanol-powered wristwatch might be a better seller right now.

Re: Oh NO..not more of that crap !

It looks like E15 can't be offered for sale during summer months due to it's evaporative volatility? Around here they sell E10 all year, so we get the benefit of decreased fuel economy all year as well. Which means we have to use more gasoline. Isn't there some correlation between burning more fossi...

Re: Going to Have My MCG Tires Installed Tomorrow

Just talked with guy tonight who said he had new tires installed on his motorbike earlier this year (Spring) and was caught by surprise by the slipperiness of the mold release.
He said he dumped it as he was exiting the dealer's parking lot and broke his kneecap! o_O

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110

Wow, that looks like a great little scooter! Congrats!! I'm slightly familiar with the older Elites, but knew nothing about this single-year (US) model. Looking thru Honda's other models from that time, it looks like they made a smaller version of the SH-150. I like the step-thru/Euro styling and lo...

Re: New helmet and jacket

Don't know if these are above the budget, but I got a pair for the Admiral and she loved them so much she badgered me into getting a pair: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/joe-rocket-phoenix-ion-pants I got black XL for my normal 36 pant size, and they are almost big. BUT... I can put them over ...

Re: New helmet and jacket

Good looking pair - now replace the 5 pads with some D30 pads and you'll be all set. What you saved on the jacket - now spend on the pads. One of the "selling points" was that the back pad can be drop-in upgraded to the D3O Viper pad. :D Watching videos about D3O it reminds me almost exac...

New helmet and jacket

My hand is finally getting back to the point where I can ride again, so I've repaired all of the damaged bits on the scoot and given it a tune-up (plug re-gap and valve adjustment). I've also got my new helmet and riding jacket (but still need to find riding pants that can fit over jeans and don't c...

Eiron, ya she’s hot too! I don’t know how the hell I got her. Sometimes poor basterds get lucky I guess. I'm sure it's a "win-win" situation for both of you! Loveland huh? I was stationed at F. E. Warren AFB way back, I remember traveling in that city. It brings back a whole other l...

Re: Spark plug color

I just checked my sparkplug for the first time. It's 3+ yrs old and has ~14k km on it. It had more black on it than yours shows, but it was also a little wide for gap. I regapped it down a bit and reinstalled it. I was planning to change mine around 16k km, but I'd be interested to hear what others ...

Re: Top Luggage Box

35L Sh150i box fits that bracket and your bike perfectly. +1 I can fit my full-face helmet, jacket, and gloves in my Shad SH39 (39 liter) box. Also, your total cost of $42+$170 sounds in line with what I paid for my Shad box and rack. The biggest difference is that the Honda rack looks like part of...

homie, any idea how this product compares to Boeshield T-9? I've used T-9 for more than a decade on my bicycles, for everything from internal frame corrosion protection to chain lubrication.

LOL, well right now the entire scoot is Poseidon Black, and a black-n-white scheme just isn't going to happen. :D Due to the accident I have to replace both of the L & R lower sections, but only the right-front upper section. Since changing the color of the right-front section means I also have ...

Opinions on cosmetics change?

Two-tone.jpg I'm getting ready to order the replacement panels for the PCX and I want to add some color. The attached picture shows white panels (under the footwells) where I'm going to make my changes. The black of my bike is "Poseidon Black," which means it looks black except in the sun...
