Re: Wheel Bearings
I bought my Forza 300 front wheel bearing at the local auto parts store. It is a standard common bearing. I had to get the dust cover seal from my Honda dealer. the bearing is a 6303

Re: Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!
my seat hit me on the head also. I think Honda should replace my scooter before I get serious brain damage.
I have 180 thousand km on the scooter. If I get anymore brain damage I may have to sell the scooter at a loss.

Re: Time for a New Tire?
I was trying to wear down my rear tire a bit more. I figure the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Scooter Rear Tire 150/70-13 had another 5000 km life left in it. I was wrong. I picked up a screw today. I was just checking wear bars and found a big Robertson head screw in the tire. I still had most of my air. I ...

Re: rear shocks leaking
I messed around with the shocks today. The adjuster was on 4 (?) so I put it on 1. It made no difference. The Forza is a cheap scooter with crappy suspension. It is not a 200 horsepower race bike. I am 64 and ride slow. Not really worth $400 for me to make it a Little bit better. I am not dragging k...

rear shocks leaking
my2014 Honda Forza 300 with 180,000 km (112,000 miles) has leaking rear shocks, they are about $400 Canadian to replace which is hard to do on my disability pension . I am about 200 pounds geared up. 1 am 64 and dyslexic. I am thinking about readjusting my rear shocks as a temporary means of improvi...

Re: Odometer
The original tires were Dunlop Scootsmart tires but they are almost impossible to buy, A Honda dealer may be able to get some but no one else seems to have them. A rear tire may last 15,000 km or 9,000 miles at most. The front tire lasts forever.

Re: Odometer
only the trip odometer measures tenths. my 2014 was reading 180,356 km when I filled it today What tires can you get for it? almost all tires of the right size are out of stock at the moment in Canada. I have never found a correct rear tire. A 150/70-13 fits. I just got a Kenda rear tire yesterday r...

Re: Time for a New Tire?
I tried to get a rear tire a little while ago. I wanted a Heidenau or a Michelin, both out of stock at Fort Nine in Montreal Almost all of the 140/70-13 where out of stock in all brands. The 150/70-13 From Kenda was almost the only ones in stock. My Pirelli Torro Rosso is looking pretty thin in the ...

tap on everything, My clutch has been making noises for 100,00 km but it still works. buy a better helmet to keep out the noise, I went deaf from wind noise and the bike works better. My muffler bolts fell out, Replaced and rode on. I keep my hearing aids under the seat, bike runs better. 100,000 mi...

Re: Time for a New Tire?
I did a short ride today, my tire centre seems to be wearing quickly, tire is properly inflated. My Shocks are broken. I tried to order a new rear tire at Fort Nine.ca but almost all of the 140 or 150/70-13's were out of stock. I Ordered a Kenda K434 tire for this summer. Avon also had a tire that w...

Re: Thinking of downsizing to a PCX
My Forza 300 has 180,000 km on it now and has been maintained by a bad mechanic, ME. Over 100 thousand miles of abuse. My 64 year old body has been maintained by a bad person, me. way too much abuse. The blood clot in my leg could break apart and kill me at any time. My bank account has way too much...

Re: Forza into my truck?
The other day my drive belt broke, my neighbour brought his really skinny ramp and my truck to where I had stopped before Ruby Creek BC. He took a long time to get organized. My other neighbour saw me broken down on the side of the highway and the shithead did not even stop to see if I needed help. ...

Re: Drive belt torque settings?
I watch 4 or 5 YouTube videos on belt replacement yesterday. Nobody used a torque wrench. Everyone just used a battery 3/8 impact and basically just snugged up the nuts/ bolts.

Re: Drive belt torque settings?
I had a belt snap yesterday? I think it did. A neighbour helped me get the fat pig home. Hard for two old guys to get it into my Dodge 4x4. Truck boxes aren't as long as they used to be.
I need a recovery day and then I pull it apart.

I had something similar, I could not unlock it, rusty etc . My neighbour said he would help, the propane torch melted the zinc lock cylinder. a big hammer finished it off
