I cannot let it go as there is nothing like it to replace it with, its so unique and ultra fun.. Hope you're all doing well during thi...

TDR makes some mean BBK kits for Yamaha's. I wonder what the variator is like for the PCX.

Re: Big Front Brake Disc Upgrade

I pulled the brake pads from my wife's bike yesterday and was surprised. I had planned on changing them, since the bike has 13,000 miles on it. The pads only look like they are half way down! Here is a picture. New one is on the left. new brake pads & old.jpg If they are still good, how long do...

Re: Big Front Brake Disc Upgrade

If I were going to just change the pads and fluid, aside from the Honda ones, if I wanted better pads how would I know if they would fit the oem brake assembly? On webike it says what model parts are for. Each model has designation for fitment of parts. My pcx is the first version 2010 125 codename...

I haven't seen any rear disc conversion kits out there. Rear brake is fine imo..

Ive got 260mm upgrade but biggest diff was upgrading the pads too. I've got kitaco front pads, good choice.

Re: 125 Exhaust on a 150?

It seems like most everything I've read so far say that the parts between the 125's and 150's are interchangeable. That said, is there any problem bolting a 125 exhaust up to the 150 motor? Seems like it shouldn't work right but perhaps the exhaust port on the motor is the same size between the two...

Re: ECU tuning pgm fi controller yuminashi

I use forza 35mm TB and Chameleon intake manifold from webike, it's match made in heaven. 150 head upgrade on 125 model is a must with bbk. That'll solve your overheating issue. I use 169 takegawa cylinder with split gasket for higher comp, yuminashi cam, takegawa fi con fuel controller from 125 mod...

Re: Good lithium batt for the 2015 & up PCX

I have that battery. Been using it now for about 5 years. Never recharged it, starts first time after months just sitting there in its corner. It’s bloody amazing little thing. It’s slightly smaller that a normal Pcx battery so you need to use the supplied padding to fill in space where it sits and ...

Re: Upgrade front brakes - best replacements

Hi Mel, I use that rotor, I’ve had it for few years now. It made a marginal improvement with standard pads. In the last year or two I’ve had a slow speed pulsating feel on front brake application like rotor is warped. I’ve changed the pads to kitaco ones but pulsating is still there. You wouldn’t kn...

Re: New PCX 2018 tire size

Just recently I've bought city grip 110-80/14 for the rear, it made no adverse difference in speed performance but handling has improved slightly. Next ill get 120 rear and shift 110 to the front wheel as the front is due to be replaced soon so that should be a nice tire raise upgrade.

Re: How long can the battery last without being started?

I use Shorai lithium 230cca battery. Had it now for about 5 years at least. Never went flat even after scoot sat unridden couple of months at the time. Never had to hook it up to the charger and it only weighs 1/5 of the original battery weight.

Hardly no diff in performance improvement from aftermarket clutch upgrades. Go to Partzilla website and order oem part, its cheap there.

Im reserved with the coating applied on to the ncy variator and sliders ability to slide smoothly. I've head the newer daytona version variator with the same teflon coating and when used with sliders it melted teflon and cooled it in to the ridges on the ramp where sliders were stoping. Quick sandpa...

Ideally you just need the Fi Con fuel controller. It has preset maps for Takegawa kits.

Re: How-To: Install a Big Bore Kit (Honda PCX 125 non-eSP)

Must get 150 head too ideally, it has bigger valves and ports. Deff more power and less chance from overheating. Also get yourself forza 35mm TB its awesome and its a straight fit. If you chose to keep 125 head, then you must do this...In the maddies photos above you will see a photo of a 125 head w...

Re: Slider question

Sliders are best. They last for ever comparing to the rollers. They do add bit more oomph but I've found that weight for weight with rollers they give same rpm response. So if people are saying drop a gram in sliders it will pep up your performance, well rollers will do the same BUT sliders do just g...
