Re: Windshield Question New Member!

From what I've read, the GIVI D1123ST is about 8.5 inches higher than the original windshield. I ran across this Puig windshield: http://www.puigusa.com/tuning-bikes/honda-ns-s300-forza-2013/v-tech-line-touring/c171en/f1-r310-m3620/ It says it is 250 mm (9.8 inches) higher than the original. But I c...

Re: NSS300 Fuel Pump problems

I bought the non-abs model also, MFG date of 6/13 and last 4 serial # 0641.
2800 miles on it now, no fuel pump problems yet, and don't have the oil leak issue yet either.
I think quite a few of the models being sold in the USA are the non-abs model.

Re: NSS300 Fuel Pump problems

Mine has the 6/13 date, just went over 2500 miles and no fuel pump problem yet. Haven't noticed any oil leak yet either. Hoping I got a good one that won't have these problems.

Re: 12mm teflon drain plug crush washers

The manual states the oil change should be done at 8000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. Most people probably won't get 8000 miles in a year, so they should still change it annually.

Re: Screen comparisons

I've got the taller honda windshield on my scooter and it works ok for me. But on my last scooter I added a spoiler like this to the windshield and loved it: http://www.twistedthrottle.com/mra-x-creen-add-on-variable-windscreen-spoiler-blade-bolt-on-10839 It is easily adjustable to several different...

Re: Up coming Forza Review

I've got just shy of 2000 miles on mine now. When I bought the Forza, the dealer told me I needed to use a pretty firm grip on the left lever when starting it. A couple of times I forgot and didn't squeeze the lever very firmly and it wouldn't start, then remembered to pull a little more on the left...

I'm waiting for the 2025 model. By then I'll be 65 and ready to retire and ready for a brand new machine to enjoy my retirement. Hopefully it will have a more comfortable seat by then.

gn2, you've got over 10,000 miles, just curious how long did your tires last before you had to change them?

Re: FORZA VIBRATION ISSUE: update - help needed

I'm on vacation this week so did a little more riding the last couple of days. Up to 1200 miles now, don't notice any vibration on mine. I've only been riding for 5 or 6 years, all on scooters, and nothing bigger than the Forza. I seem to recall someone saying there were some that had a vibration pr...

Re: 2014 Honda Forza US Freeway Speeds

I've never actually figured out the mpg when I fill at the gas station, just go by what the guage reads. Wind makes a big difference, riding into the wind the mpg can be 10 less than riding with the wind. Riding into the wind my guage will drop all the way down to 60mpg, riding with the wind it will...

Re: other price add ons

I paid $5800 OTD.
$5472 for the scooter, $342 for tax, $136 for license and title, and got $150 cash back from Honda.
Some dealers charge extra for setup & freight charges, etc. But my dealer said he doesn't those extra fees.

willajabir, I got your PM but I'm not able to send PM's yet, must have to be more active on here before I can PM. Just wanted you to know that everything is cool, I laughed when I read it. It was a little worrisome on my first tank when the tank read empty and I was like 20 miles from home, but I kn...

Re: Bought two new Forza's for wife and myself

Looking forward to your assesment of the Givi screen. You could get a Puig for the other one so you know who's is which. http://www.puigusa.com/tuning-bikes/honda-ns-s300-forza-2013/v-tech-line-touring/c171en/f1-r310-m3620/ I don't see anyone, that I can find that sells this one in the US. Price is...

Re: Gas Gauge

I filled up my msr fuel bottle and put it under the seat and had intended to ride my scooter until it ran out of gas just to see how many miles I would get on it before it ran empty. It was on the empty mark at I think around 130 miles. Kept riding until it got to 180 miles, but then got tired of wa...

Re: Spanner Wrench for rear shocks

I thought I was missing parts in my toolkit also, it only contained a helmet-locking cable and a double-sided screwdriver. The parts list showed more parts including a spanner. I went to the honda dealer and they looked it up on the computer and it showed the other parts as unavailable. They got a t...

I installed a gps on mine and it was right on up to 55mph, didn't test it faster than that yet. Very accurate on mine anyway.
