Re: 2015 PCX 150 Black, added pinstriping

Zack,

Excellent work. With your first pic, I was not really into the look, but by the end you sold me - nicely done.

I must echo Homie's Tron comment.

What's next??? You aren't stopping with that, are you

Re: Got a Custom SEAT - Show' n 'Tell

It's just seat time! After a recent long ride, I decided to look into a new seat - I had to balance knee discomfort against that ridge on the back of the stock (2016) seat that was giving me a second butt crack. Looking at Bikerbitz, Seat 7 looked to be just what I wanted...a flat surface that I cou...

Re: Got The PCX Recall Notice Today

Got mine today as well...I actually bought one of them back when I got the scoot...then drilled into it before coming to my senses and getting the proper SHAD mounting plate... The guys at my local dealer are pretty nice, but getting that replaced sounds like a little much...oh well, not like I am u...

Re: An E-Class Benz Modified My PCX Yesterday

Glad to hear you are okay (no mentions of injuries). There are no shortage of inattentive and downright dicky drivers wherever you are. Sorry to hear about your crash, but parts for these bikes are plentiful and relatively easy to get...parts for people are far harder to get (and more expensive). Ho...

Re: My PCX in Jeopardy

Homie, I completely understand, except my issue goes the other way - my father (75 today) wants to take my scoot out for "a ride or two" (rode once, in 1974). I told him that was fine, after he takes the class. I know he won't listen to a word I say and I don't want to be a potential cause...

Thank you very much for the inventory!

I think I need to get a few more things (like maybe a tie not from the 90's...)

Thanks again, you rock!

Re: HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200

Excuse my ignorance...while I am not geographically impaired, I guess I need to brush up on the scooter offerings from my neighbor to the south...and probably get jealous...

-100 Internet points for me...and I felt the burn.

Re: MPG

I am getting consistent 90 mpg from my 2016. I am a similar weight and ride it WoT most of the time (it's all 55 mph speed limit around me). I agree with my esteemed colleagues above that it might be worth it to have the Honda folks have a look at it, it seems a little low to me. But opinions are li...

Re: Across Australia on a PCX150

Mark, I glanced briefly at the provided link, I will delve into the full ride report later today. First off, congratulations on making the trip! That is one long haul. I completely understand the sideways glances from other cyclists that sometimes turn to a grudging respect (along with may suggestio...

Re: HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200

PCXman, Thanks for the write-up. I dismissed all the Burgys for a silly reason when I was looking - I can't stand the plastic covering on the bars (says WAY more about my insanity that a rip on the bike). I never got so far as to be cramped in the knees a la the Forza and Kymco Downtown. Nmax? Inter...

Re: My build/mods thread: '15 PCX

Good Deal Glen,

I have Seat #7 on they way, it was great to see a comparison.

Sitting a little lower? Sounds great to me.

Does the seat bite into the underseat storage at all?

Thanks in advance,

Paul, you never live too far away from a stretch of road...doesn't have to have cameras lining it to make it yours, to make it special...but I guess there is something about a long bike trip that can get even me to be all philosophical and junk...love you blog. Love that color! It is a matte finish (hard to tell from the shots)? How did you get it to stick to the (formerly) black parts.

If you just rattle-canned that thing, I quit (and do you take commissions?).

Looking super clean...

Spent too much time writing up this War and Peace level narrative, now for responses: Robbie: 25-250-2500 miles? Whatever you feel comfortable with - the roads there and back make all the difference. See something new, eat a meal that is out of your comfort zone, chat up complete strangers...that's ...

Rockin' the raised yellow letter.

I approve...and it does look damn good with the grey...(starts thinking).
